We did this with every mgs, so when this one came around, as I handed him the controller for this final fight, all the memories rushed back as the songs changed.
Metal Gear Saga will always remain to be the most epic and powerful soundtrack I’ve ever listened to. You can tell that it’s the final day, and the final fight for Solid Snake to finish off Liquid Ocelot once and for all, no matter how fast he has aged over the past few years, no matter how sick he is, and no matter how tired he is, at his last breath.

I'm not an MGS2 fan, nor did I play it before this game, but for some reason I got a lot of shivers when Tanker Incident started playing.
It feels like a more intense version of the song that preceded it. Maybe that’s why. It feels like a genuine escalation.
