It's always nice to see the creative world that others have created.
This is awesome
Well done
So basicly The Fade is a steampunk version of The Mist.
@@deluxis4991 I think it depends on where you first encountered the idea of a foggy area with spooky monsters, but yeah the mist is a solid comparison for sure. I think abaddon or hades did it first though
@@ItsNket because i love Stephen King's books that was the first thing that came to my mind 😁
@@deluxis4991 I’m just finishing Tommyknockers right now! Big spooky
Our table was discussing steampunk this morning and this is the perfect video for that. I was talking about having a global contrivance for isolating the branching tech development and the Fade is a perfect example of that. Have you given thought on if there might be player characters that want to "remove the curse of the fade" or player characters that might have "come from the other side of the fade (magic casters)" and how you would include that as a GM? I love your setting, its very well thought out.
well after watching this I want a tutorial on how to generate images with a consistent artstyle xD
If you use variables like “comic book art style, graphic novel art style, thick outlines” towards the end of your prompt it’s pretty reliably the same generic comic-ish style
And perhaps a followup video for pf2e and D&D 5e with a specific list of classes, races, spells that you wish to blacklist to make the setting work would be great addition to this AARDEN series. This is for new GMs who are yet to be comfortable with saying no to players or modifying the system.
heyoooo I'm actually turning this into a setting guide / book for 5e - if you go to my channel, there's a video on it somewhere recently. i'm hoping to be done by the first week of december, but will def be done before the end of the year.
Good stuff
Appreciate it qt
Nice videos, btw. thank you for sharing info about TaleSpire tool!
what about map tool? which one you used to create map for your compaign in this video?
I’m using TaleSpire for the most part, the map in this one was Inkarnate - I think they’re a fantastic resource for this kind of stuff
@@ItsNket thanks, I’ll check it out :)
I tried TaleSpire few months before… seems need to give one more try to it!
@@virrcraft TaleSpire is probably the strongest 3D vtt out there right now, the only downside is that barring some clever use of mechanics and discord streaming - all players need to own it.
I also use Owlbear Rodeo a lot for when I need to show larger maps for travel and stuff - it's a free 2D VTT that's pretty easy to learn. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Roll20 or Foundry, but it still does the trick.
This is super interesting , . . is there any way to find out more information about the world and its lore?
Subscribing to stay in the loop
Did you make this website or it's like a custom wiki for everyone?@@ItsNket
@@Ajegra hey, I actually just had to delete that reply as the wiki has become more of a thing just for my players and their campaign - once I started working on the book I stopped updating the wiki entirely, so it only had campaign info on it being updated
Are you gonna post any of your Boards and slabs? Love the art and production here. I'm not a PF player but I'd love to see more when you have more to show.
I definitely plan on it, but a lot of it’s gonna have to wait until after my players get there in the campaign so I can avoid showing things that would be spoilers for them, lol.
@@ItsNket I get that. Is that your own art?
@@ItsNket just curious 'cause that is killer production value.
@@TimeTravelingBunnis Noooo sir, that's stuff I've pumped out with Midjourney AI over the past month. I can barely draw stick figures.
I like this a lot! Do you have docs for this to use?
Hey, I kind of live in a state of controlled chaos so I had too many google docs for people to make sense of.
Im slowly but surely uploading information to the wiki, at ttrpg.dreamsreach.com/index.php/Main_Page
if I use this world its going to be a flintlock fantasy I hate steampunk
Stornk opinons
@@ItsNket I know I'm picky with technology in any fantasy world and I know the world is not mine.
