Really enjoyed getting to know you guys from a human perspective and not just from a pulpit foundation. Jacob and Hannah's story in this season made me appreciate the foundation laid behind losing a child and Urias pulling through. Coming from someone who transplanted into the church 5 years ago , I didn't get to know things just off-hand about our teams and where our generational leaders have come from. I believe this will help the level of transparency needed for our gen to connect with our pastors that you don't get when you have 13 campus locations and personal relationship doesn't get to take place. Also love the quick humor that plays out despite Jacob's seriousness/want to stay on topic. You guys compliment each other well and keep it interesting without getting too wordy. I think it's good for people to get a slight personal window into our leaders' lives to keep pedestals from forming.
I'm so glad that ya'll are doing this podcast. I'm enjoying it so much and sharing it with ppl. I love how you guys connect with one another. It doesn't feel "put on." Very powerful and informative messages with some light-hearted fun thrown in. It's great. I always keep a pen and notepad ready to take notes. Can't wait for more! Thanks, guys.

Is Jacob Duane Sheriff son?
Yes, Jacob Sheriff is Pastor Duane Sheriff’s son. This was posted by someone on Jacob Sheriff's team, we promise he doesn't speak in third-person ;)
