The relationship between Vod and Oregan is very well observed. Vod is looking out for Oregan and Oregan obviously admires Vod independence and individualism.....really good comic acting from both.
Vod is brilliant but Howard's performance here is massively underrated. Everyone thinks he's being serious.... "a lot of young people are real into rocks and things that aren't going anywhere" 😂 "Central America's making a big comeback" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 wow. Brilliant. He's usually so serious but he's taking the piss hence Oregon interrupting him.
@@adamlee3333 That's the whole point. Howard is a bit of a freak, but he's also shit hot smart compared to the rest of them, and I actually think he's taking the piss and that's the point. He's almost having a joke at their expense. "things that aren't going anywhere"....? come on.
@@InvisibleYetVisible He is the smartest one (or Oregon) but he is rarely ironic or sarcastic when offering outside the box remarks; like with his list of what's 'good' and 'bad'. I think he is sharing his genuine insights about what people his age are into rather than taking the piss; especially as he is so dressed up and taking the evening seriously. The joke is that it's somehow fallen to Howard of all people to speak about their generations interests; when he is such an outsider and obviously would have no grasp on what 'normal' people his age would be into.
@Wendell Shorteyes I love how the celery eating gradually escalates. This whole sequence is really nicely edited, jumping between all the interjections.
I love that they are eating on a ping pong table the whole time
How have I never noticed this before!?

I think he is serious
@@sassav6564 I thought so as well until the comment about "Central America making a big comeback". That was genius.
He is being serious; Oregon interupts him because she thinks he is ruining the dinner party vibe/ he's a freak.

Surely one of the best comedy series set pieces of all time? Must have laughed out loud at least 10 times.
Vod completely stopping her flirting to watch the fight 😂 "this is fun"
"Central America is making a big comeback"
the guy with the beard's face throughout is brilliant
Ik I'm very late to this but he has a good role in a show called to Cuckoo
Steve chance is a god among men
Howard was the best in this scene tbh 😂
Tony Shales did not do a PhD to be called “Mr Shales.”
First thing I thought
