Crazy to think that they kept this body style for so long... But I can see why, just a beautiful car. I have a 77 Fleetwood Brougham myself & Absolutely love it too.
The most metal for the money, and it eventually became the longest regular production car built in the US. The livery and coachbuilder sector also were loyal customers.
I had a 1977 Sedan De Ville as a daily driver/commuter for two years starting back about 17 years ago. It was white over orange.
This car is sooo nice, I wish I had room in my garage for this I would buy in a heartbeat. . . .
If you want this car take a chance. We just bought the Lincoln 95 Never had a easier time buying a car. Anthony makes it so easy. Can’t wait to see what’s next and differently buying from Specialty Motors. Pics coming soon
Those were the best door trim designs of any car, simple and luxurious at the same time, even though the "wood" was plastic. Olds 98 and Buick Electra were very similar. The oversize courtesy lights really made a statement.
OMG that car is absolutely GORGEOUS!! You can tell it was very well cared for by Frank. The car is gleaming and a definite attention getter for sure!
This kid's is what a real car looks like 💪🏼
This Car is a legend
Absolutely stunning car! My Stepfather had an ‘81 like this one but in blue. My favourite car ever. I’d love to buy one now but it won’t fit in my garage lol.
My neighbor got one of these for a 16th birthday gift back in the day and all I can think is wow when I'm old enough to drive I want one of those😂
307 was the best you could hope for in '87 sans resurrecting the Olds 350 with a CFI system.
It is really great to see you and Papa Bear working together!!
What a gorgeous automotive masterpiece! Had to wipe away my drool! My '90 Brougham d' Elegance has the standard plastic steering wheel also. Mine has 172,839 miles and is still a pleasure to drive! She's no cream puff (my car), but Big Momma still gets compliments when I take her out! Mine has plenty of power, but the body roll reminds me she's a luxury cruiser!
One of the cool things about the Broughams equipped with the Olds 307 - super easy to swap in an Olds 455 and give it some vroom.
Hey Anthony and Papa I love that color on that car, I don't remember seeing that many red Cadillac's like that, but I love that a lot!!
This car is gorgeous
I am still toodling along with my original sound in my 80’s cars, but when they fail, RetroSound is on my radar. Has been for at LEAST 3-4 years
Nice tribute to former owners' hard work & care :-)
Frank new the top trick.... NuVinyl. Nice sheen, no slime. I used to use it on my 85 LeSabre and my 2nd 85 Riviera. One coat every other year is all you need. Not a red fan but, WOW!
Fabulous car. As for the steering wheel…the plastic is period correct. That said, leather makes the wheel thicker (which is my personal preference) and it stays a bit cooler…especially if there is no sun shade.
Flawless condition like it just got assembled out of the factory..
🇺🇸 *Gorgeous Brougham D'Elegance* !! *LOVE this Autumn Maple Firemist* !! *All of the details on this car are fantastic* !! *FAB job Anthony and Papa Bear* !! #SpecialtyMotorCars 🇺🇸
Car is just beautiful Caddy’s and Lincoln are meant to cruise easy not race.
WOW! What an absolute beauty. I love the broughams in this color!
Hey Anthony & Papa Bear, simply WoW!!! This Cadillac is stunning!!! I like the plastic wheel but I prefer the feel of the leather wheel. I'm sure that this beauty will find a loving home with a nice garage (if it hasn't already)!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂
Hello Christopher I like " Wow this Cadillac is stunning" very true as you said in the comment. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
I wished I could buy this because I love it and I missed my 92 brougham
Now this is gorgeous . . . The body style, design of the dash and interior is timeless and very beautiful. In my most honest opinion these cars make Porches and Mercedes look like 3rd class junk.
Almost as nice as the ceramic mug, key holder and sunshade I just received from the merchandise store. The car is nice too! You and Papa Bear do everything first class.
Hi Peter I love those coffee mugs I use them ALL THE TIME for my morning coffee. Oh yes that car is beautiful too. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
@paulgozzo9178 I am still holding out hope, that one of these day's I'll be able to get my hands on one of those beautiful car's of yours. Everything out there is scary and crappie. Recalls by the dozens.
Steering wheel looks great now.
I had the same year and model but black with gold emblems in the 90's. Love this red version too!
That BURGUNDY is BEAUTIFUL
Hey Anthony and Papa 🐻. Once again you've done it. Excellent automobile. Those are my best years! I love those beautiful broughams. I had a triple gold and a triple black. They were my babies. Enjoy your day. Hug Papa 🐻 for me!!
I prefer the leather wrapped wheels myself.
A gorgeous car. I agree with you that I generally am averse to audio upgrades.
I had a 1985 Buick LeSabre with the 5.0 engine. It went for 177,000 miles without any issues. Great engine for long trips.
Steering wheel just like my Park Ave Buick . High quality. Classy inlay. Perfect .
Love the wheel with the wood inlay!
Absolutely STUNNING
Glad to see you add a look at the bottom....hopefully you will add that on all your cars. Much appreciated. Enjoy your "tours."
Amazing how this body went on from 1980-92.
I think I need to start selling some of mine to grab a gem like this!
Beautiful ride
Can you start giving us a horn sample on these? Always love those Cadillac horns
No doubt about that. Those classic Cadillac horns are a great way to get people to hurry through a crosswalk.
Hi Anthony! Back in the day, I would have ordered the leather wheel, but today, I much more appreciate the plastic wheel. Pity about the lack of a power pull down but great car A!
Best looking brougham before the one piece headlights
I like the plastic wheel . Reminds me of my old Lincoln . That is one nice caddy . Thanks Anthony
Someday... SOMEDAY!!! I hope I'll be in a position to get something like this from you. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S example!!
I live vicariously through Anthony
I love these colors Autumn Maple Firemist over Carmine Red.
Another beautiful Caddy. Grew up riding in these.
I love love love these Cadillac Brougham D’Elegance. My mother had one for a number of years. Would love to buy one of these one day from you guys ❤
What a beautiful well loved beauty she is
I love these type of cars. Wish this could be mine.
Anthony you have done it again my brother another absolutely 💯 percent beautiful car as far as i am concerned it is not a Cadillac made after 1992
I loved the 307 in my 86 regal. Smooth runner.
Every car i have had i put the window vents on. I think it makes the vehicle look better.
Very much a retro rocket, the colour makes it candy-apple sweet!
Man, beautiful dream car.
I have been asking about them for over two years never hear back.
Beautiful car, I have an 88 Brougham.... triple black.... these a great long running cars, I had a 91 Brougham I drove that for 15 years... Triple Blue...
timeless cadillac design
Stunning
A Beautiful car Anthony
The roof is perfect shape.
That car is the EXACT color and model year Caddy used in the movie 'Adventures in Babysitting' with Elisabeth Shue.
This color is wonderful love very much ❤️
The pointing finger is hilarious 🤣
I'm going to.have one of these one day. My dad had a light blue 87 omg I was like 4 years old trying to drive it
They're made to float 😁
👍👍 a beautiful car. Would love to talk to you about it.
You or papa bear would look good behind the wheel.
Liked it first time around, and I like it now. Let's raise the algorithm. Make me in charge of car colors...anything you want ...either black or white. Give it your special touch with a pinstripe. Any color you want on the color wheel. Keep things timeless and classy. No restrictions on the pinstripe color. I'll allow that.🦓
303 FTW... my 83 is bathed in it 😆
Beautiful Anthony!! :)
Get outa her mow-skeet-tow 😂 idk why that made me laugh
To be honest with you. I like my Cadillacs just as much as you. I can’t say I’ve ever come across a D’Elegance model with plastic wheel. They’ve all been leather wrapped. But the plastic is classy
Carro maravilhoso
Beautiful car
Hahaha, greetings from Montréal!! My gorgeous Lincoln Continental 75 is doing just fine up here, juste a couple hours away from Maine.
Nice Cadillac Anthony and papa Bear 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏾
Very nice love the plush pillows the best
She is so Gorgeous Anthony and yes very weirdly optioned. I do like the plastic steering wheel better. My 1990 Brougham has the plastic one and it is great. This color is truly Amazing. !!!
Hi Papa..... !!!
SUPER ! Top ! 🌟 🌟 🌟
Really nice , Nice car ! A (?) 350 G M engine. Great engine. But oops I thought it was a 350 not a 307 SBC
Wire wheel covers with red round inserts is a grand slam home run...
My only knock on the Caddys from 84 to 88,had issues with engine. I never would touch them. 78-82 were the best and 90-92. Trust me
I've had a bunch these caddies and other GMs/Lincolns of this era with both plastic and leather steering wraps. Oddly I preferred the plastic over the leather, as long as the plasti-wood inlay was in good shape. General feel of the steering wheel kinda sucks when that inlay is cracked, broken, or missing all together (I got good at replacing those). GM leather wraps would always get sticky for whatever reason and just felt unnatural in your hands unless you cleaned them constantly -which would then wear the leather prematurely😞 of course! I currently have an 04 Lesabre Limited which came with a plastic AND leather wheel, kind of an odd mix I've never seen -I like it a lot! My 2000 Park Ave I drove years ago was an all leather -same issues with that steering wheel -hated it. Lincolns and Mercuries seem to be much better at doing leather wraps, though I prefer GMs thicker gauge wheels. Anyway -blah blah blah -sorry🙂 Thought it was a good question worth chiming in 2c's.....
Very nice
My Dad had an 86 Fteetwood Brougham D'Elegance (his second, he also has an 84) that was the same color
Very kool
People complain about the 307, but I defend it as it isn’t bad at all so long as it is properly tuned and taken care of. Advancing the timing a bit helps, as does making sure there are no vacuum leaks. Another issue is stretching of the throttle cable. I’ve had a couple that seemed gutless upon purchase, but both had a stretched throttle cable. Once remedied, the drivability was WAY better. It’s still not going to win races outright with most modern vehicles, but it will feel good and confident off of the line, go up hills well, easily keep up with traffic, and even do some good passing. A 0-60 should be 11-ish seconds if running well, as mine do that. I’ve seen people say theirs were near 20 seconds or worse, so no wonder they blast the 307. These people, however, should realize something is wrong as no one would have bought them when new if they were that terrible. Lastly, the 307 is super reliable and durable, which is a real plus considering Cadillac was not batting a thousand with engines in this era like they were in the 70s and before.
Drive a 91 with the 305 TBI. Feels like a totally different car.
Ditch the aftermarket window drip guards. They aren't needed and detract from the appearance.
I drove plenty of 307s when they were new in the '80s and they were noticeably quieter than the 5.0 liters from Chevy and Ford. Very quiet under full throttle. So they were not barnburners but they were civilized.
Me gusta el carro
Ever think of just finding a olds 350 block preferavbly 70-72 and then it will fit right in and you got 100 more horsepower plus 100 more torque.. i had a cadillac 1987 absd someone put a Olds 455 1970 in it. It was fast AND Smooth..
My '68 coupe had balls!
Just the way I want my whip Lol
👍👍👍👍👍👍😉
Yeah baby!! You almost got the pronunciation perfect. But it don’t matter, because this Cadillac is PEEERRRRFECT!!!!!
I love this car I’m saving money to buy one but I can’t find any in Fl
Hey Anthony, id be interested in this or the 97 town car coming up
Needs a good ceramic coating. You are doing it an injustice selling it in such manner, car is shined at all.
Two syllables.. "Della-gance". :)
my 1987 Cadillac Brougham is needing a new home. $2000. 4 months ago $2300 of maintenance, new tires, new brakes, new wiper motor, new blower motor, alignment. Rust exists although interior and trunk look like new. A man who drove it to and from work each day for 6 months before I bought it. Look me up if interested. These luxury rides, Cadillac and Lincoln, are going up in price because the new cars are excessive and other makes are ugly, so people who want these luxury cars and on their own because banks don't finance unless they change it. Good luck. Kevin Callihan
