You do so many manual steps. You achieve a cleaner result if you just do a drawing of the imported body, print it out and use the drawing dimensions to model parametrically from scratch. I was expecting the use of special tools to recognize shapes and the parametric model would be created more or less automatically. But thumbs up... keep doing these videos!
i have a non parametric model and i want a specific bead ( sheet metal) to be moved from its original position to 20 mm so i dont want to create the whole nonparametric to parametric but i only need to make that bead to move 20mm how can it do that (not the whole body only a specific feature) help me
why u have not inserted coordinate sysy at first while starting remastering ?...its basic practice to create datum point & axis system with No associate with parent ...

Hi.. there is no such tool to identify.. but if your sketch is fully constrained you will see auto-dimension generated at open location

CSYS is useful when you want globally assemble a part.. but this is just exercise model
