I hear you man. Fully aware of my inclination to perfectionism especially when I was still a med student. Because of that, I developed anxiety issues that manifests in the form of procrastination. I know the steps how to fight it but in the end, I just have to accept the reality that I would never ace everything.

I get where you're coming from. Everytime I do something and I take a step back, look at what I've done, and see that it's not really what I panned out in my head. I see that I could've done better, try to do it better, but then it becomes exhausting to try and 'perfect' it and just not finish. Your concluding words to "do what you can do" really helped. There's no such thing as 'the best of the best' because omeone would take that title not even 10 seconds after.

Society pushes people perfectionism. Don’t spend times with this type of people. They increase to our anxiety level always.
Just say that you are perfect than by by. I have not energy to be perfect 👍 but I have energy for what makes me happy and what I need for life cycle

I don't think I was ever a perfectionist in a... practical sense. When it came to art, I'd usually hit a point where I'd just say "eh, good enough", post it, and move on. But from a young age, I'd typically pick up or learn something in the process, and always strived for self improvement. (I've been somewhat burned out for a couple of years, but do fully expect to pick it up again... perhaps at some point, I did start comparing my progress, follower count or whatever to people around me..?)
Basically, I'd use myself as a measuring stick, instead of trying to outdo other people. Something I feel the new God of Wars exemplify quite well- just that persistent call to "be better" than I was. Certainly not perfectionism in even the loosest interpretation of the word, but perhaps it can apply in our own individual microcosm of personal experience..? An inner-perfectionism, or... I dunno, something like that :P
