Gene Collins was obsessed with this album back in 97 - had not heard anything like it. Got into thrash, death-metal, grind after. Re-discovered it this year and it really take me back as a timeless album

Outstanding! One of my favorite classic KoRn songs. I kinda preferred Jonathan whispering the lyrics: "Don't give it up, don't kick my stick" like he did in the past live performances.
It's "want to give it up, no I can't escape", but yeah I prefer the whispered chorus

This song is about what its like/ trying to beat crystal meth. JD was on that stuff early on but luckily was able to get off of it. Great great song that came from that.

I bet in that time they realized they've haven't done a live variant of the song itself, so that they sang it live anyways. It must meant that it brang bad memories to them since, there has been a lot of bad things when they were recording their first album.

why do bands ruin good songs all the time? this is why id never see them or popallica live, i want the original songs not some dolled up crap to appeal to a younger crowd that dont get it anyway. real shame, i followed these guys from 94 to 2005 when they just went full pop and head left. i spent maybe $5000 as a teen on cds, tix, posters, guitars, shirts, patches and hair-had heads braids. wrote KoRn on everything i owned, now couldnt keep them on the radio if i tried. like popallica, the 1st 4 are the legacy, everything else if trying to hard to sell pop shit.

firstly iv heard enough new crap to make up my mind, rock and metal today is watered down and more pop then anything, i like heavy loud and fast. the korn i speak of and remember is not the band of today. what you two listen too, keeps the band around and more generations will enjoy the next phase, this era in music is blurred. keep listening, but to us old heads who lived the time period of Clinton era of FTW and hate/anger for no reason, think Metallica load/reload and you get the idea, for me Issuses was my black album.
actually albums 5 and 6 are better and not at all pop. in fact the only album you could even argue was trying to be poppy is SYOTOS. get your ears cleaned dude. and metallica always sucked
