Ive never really been a nitro fan but they have definitely seemed to step their game up in terms of functionality and build quality. Nice boat man, GL this season.

Great video! I'm in the market for a new / newer boat and I always look at the Nitros because they seem to be a lot better value. I agree 100% on the fiberglass fenders, I have them on my Triton 21-HP and I hate them. My boat is 12 years old now and you can see stress cracks on the fenders from standing on the wrong spot. Right now I'm looking at the Nitro, Caymas, Phoenix, Vexus, and my first pick is the BassCat but dang they're high. I keep my boat 10 - 12 years so I need something that's going to hold up and still have some decent value left when I'm ready for a new one. I'm hoping to find a 1 or 2 year old boat with low hours, I don't want to pay what new rigs are bringing now. The other plus on a used boat is getting something that's already rigged out with the latest electronics. Used boat prices are going down every week it seems so I think I'll get a decent deal. I wanted one a couple years ago but prices were way too high. That's what I should have sold mine but I couldn't go 2 years without a boat. Good luck this season and thanks again for the review.

BassCat has incredible quality/fit & finish but yep going to pay for it.
Nitro seems to be pretty good for the money so far
My ‘23 20’ Caymas is still for sale with the latest electronics if interested at Thayers Marine

Look for a Falcon and be done with your search.

@@c.shoefish I checked them out at the east Tennessee Fishing Expo this past weekend, not a bad looking boat. I guess it's just personal preference, I have a few I like the features and looks of and Falcon didn't fall in that category. I'm also looking at some aluminum boats like the Xpress X21 which I really like. I started out with a 20' G3 with a 200 Yamaha and I miss pulling up on the bank and not worrying about scratching the hull. The one thing I don't like about them is running on big water with a 10 - 15 MPH wind. They say they cut through the waves but all aluminum boat slap the water when it gets rough. They also tend to blow around more than a glass boat in wind. I'm going to have my Triton detailed and put it up for sale soon, hopefully there will be some folks that want an 12 year old boat that's already rigged out nice for a 1/3 of what new ones cost.

@@cherokeelaketennessee7895 I hear you, they're all very similar but also a little bit different and those little differences speak to different people. Xpress makes an excellent boat, if I end up with a new boat at some point, it'll be an xpress, they ride awesome. My buddy up in MI has an x21 and that thing rides like a dream. In today's market as long as you price it fair, you should not have a problem selling it... I have a champion 196 that I got right before covid for a screaming deal and then I restored it during covid, all together I have probably 20k into it.

Are they using wood on the Nitros?

LOL, a boat deal with White River when one of your sponsors is Tackle Warehouse?????????? If you can pull that off with Johnny, you need to quit fishing and start selling ice to Inuits.
On a serious note, nice job with the rigging. I like how you took the time to label the wiring. I like the fact you keep a tool kit in the boat. I think more professionals should do their own rigging, it makes like much easier when something goes wrong and you are in the middle of the tournament. Since you were the one who rigged it, you won't need to make a panicked phone call to Henesey (or whoever rigged your boat) for help.
