She wrote letters documenting her flirtatious relationship with the composer when she was younger, and remained close to him until his death in 1827. The woman most people believe to be Elise, however, has long been Austrian singer and performer Therese Malfatti. It’s thought that Beethoven proposed to Malfatti around 1810, and she either rejected him outright or accepted and changed her mind shortly thereafter. If that’s the case, why would it be named “Für Elise” instead of “Für Therese”? The argument is that it was "Für Therese"-and somewhere over the years, the name was mistranslated. Another fact working in Malfatti’s favor: The original manuscript in Beethoven’s hand was found in her possessions after her death, apparently labeled “Für Therese.” It has since gone missing, resulting in a classical music mystery for the ages.

@@MusicalBasics yeah HUGE thanks to kodeblooded. I have heard so much dubstep and what was done here may be "generic" but it fits well, is mixed well, is still creative and original despite being a "generic" structure to a dubstep track and fits into your playing so well. Plus, the hardstyle caught me off guard and I was headbanging hard because of it. Man you two meshed really well here and I am absolutely living for it
My overthinking and insane imagination feel like a curse in everyday life, but the fact that I can actually see in my head what I read and combine it with the music is a gift and i feel like I'm watching awesome video clips so it's like a gift and it kinda balances out.
Not to be that prick, but Fur Elise is not a beginner piano piece. It is arguably harder to play Fur Elise on a technical level then this dubstep version, as the dubstep drowns out enough of the playing that there is no need for dynamics or finger control, just jumping around with some solid chords and octaves...
And thats how the master himself created a masterpiece. That even after 100 years and no matter how it is played, its still a part of musichistory. No one in this time will ever be able to compose like Beethoven or other classical composers did. There is no music comparable in this time, to what the old masters created. They created worlds, storys... And even after hundred of years they are able to be retold. And i tell this as a musician who doesn't wants to hear Für Elise anylonger, because conceptually its to not comparable to other classical work from Beethoven or other composers. But compared to other composers its still and will ever be a masterpiece.

I've listened to EDM for so long and Dubstep is one of my love's and I'm just waiting for people to hate on this video because they're purists. This right here? This is amazing. As a lover of EDM and a lover of how your epic style is already heavy and full of buildups and epic runs and themes, I am so thrilled by the mashup of dubstep and hardstyle here with your already heavier style Lionel. You're a freaking beast and to all the purists, take notes. This is how worlds collide!
I'm glad you love this! kodeblooded is the guy who really made this happen, he's an absolute beast of a producer and well there's not enough good things I can say about his work. And lol I look forward to seeing the purists comments, i live off their tears haha
I love Dubstep too, probably more than I should.
Man you two meshed really well here and I am absolutely living for it
Glitch hop's my fav
Let's be real, how can you even hate this?
Unless you have *bad music taste* ofc
This was seriously THE best version I've ever heard of this song! Bravo!!!
It’s a piece not a song
Bro, seeing someone actually play the song adds an entirely different layer of appreciation of the music. I am in awe
Imagine being named Elise-
My overthinking and insane imagination feel like a curse in everyday life, but the fact that I can actually see in my head what I read and combine it with the music is a gift and i feel like I'm watching awesome video clips so it's like a gift and it kinda balances out.
same for me and i wish i could animate but i dont no how to that would just make it even better
I do that a lot, as I love storywriting. You're not alone :D
@Alexandria Hauser same :)
@@yoboidainelhudson7486 I think a lot of us would :3

Piano teacher: can you play any song?
Me: yes , a bit of Fur Elise
Piano teacher: hahahahaha, beginner
Me:
Not to be that prick, but Fur Elise is not a beginner piano piece.
It is arguably harder to play Fur Elise on a technical level then this dubstep version, as the dubstep drowns out enough of the playing that there is no need for dynamics or finger control, just jumping around with some solid chords and octaves...

"Hey so what do you like to read? What music do you listen to?"
Me: Aite strap in because this is gonna be alot to unpack, but-
i uh- i listen to classical dubstep... not like the original dubstep but the dubstep remix version of classical songs
Uhh it's complicated
And thats how the master himself created a masterpiece. That even after 100 years and no matter how it is played, its still a part of musichistory.
No one in this time will ever be able to compose like Beethoven or other classical composers did. There is no music comparable in this time, to what the old masters created.
They created worlds, storys...
And even after hundred of years they are able to be retold.
And i tell this as a musician who doesn't wants to hear Für Elise anylonger, because conceptually its to not comparable to other classical work from Beethoven or other composers. But compared to other composers its still and will ever be a masterpiece.
"-Fritz, are you sure the guests will enjoy tonight's entertainment? Have you summoned a worthy piannist?
-Oh yes, undoubtefully, sire! We have chosen one of a rising popularity among the young nobles. They all say 'tis the dankest!"
That moment when you hear your favourite classical tune become suddenly badass instead of just beautiful total eargasm
Better than S*X ...lasts way longer & can repeat over & over...YIKES EPIC !!
Many people in their automated lives , are too busy to leave a note of thanks acknowledging the Brilliance of this video.
I'm not one of them.
I don't care if my comments get likes or replies....
I just wanna let you know MB that this video touched my heart. I play the very song and I know what a pain it is to learn this even at it's orignal tempo .

Gah, this was amazing. I could hardly believe how fast your fingers were moving and with such precision. Not only that, but the composition itself was epic. I could still recognize Beethoven in it, but it was still very modern and techno sounding.
You could have become:
a) a pianist.
b) a Dubstep artist.
or
c) a writer.
You instead combined all 3 and became a UA-camr!
Excellent work bro! Keep it up!
This is the most incredible insane out of this world mind blowing arrangement I have ever heard. I am so impressed with the talent this young man has. This literally gave me goosebumps and made me cry. This man is certainly blessed!!! Thank you for sharing your blessing with the world!!!
Please do another fan pieces episode. It’s beautiful to see what people from around the world have created. It gives smaller artists and composers the chance to show people what they have made. And we all love the music.
Its coming soon!!

It's very rare I get goosebumps listening to a song, but when it happens I know the song is insane. Good work man!
My two favorite things: piano and dubstep, finally combined into one. Thank you, but also curse you for making this because now I will attempt and fail to learn it
Don’t feel bad if you’re not able to play at full speed, he didn’t. He played at a slower speed and sped up the video.
Thanks. A lot.
It reads like bad fanfic but sounds like amazing music. I do not know how to take this. I really do not.

It's ok. At best. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I feel like 20yrs have been added to my life after hearing this! Thank you!
WOW - this arrangement is masterful! Who could imagine this gentle work would be taken to this extreme, complete with dark and dynamic textures with some serious dubstep thrown in? This isn't for everyone (especially the purists), but personally, I reckon this is wonderful. Congratulations to the performer, arranger, producer (Kodeblooded) and video producer.

The musical arrangement is cool, but, honestly, I'm leaving a like mainly for the story. 😂👌🏻👍🏻
If my soul had a song, THIS IS IT. I found this song 24hrs ago and have listened to it approximately 147 times no doubt. Im a music lover and NEVER has a song grabbed hold of me like this. The piano dubstep is pure genius and very shared this with so many people and they agree its out of this damn world. I wish i recorded myself listening for the first time because when I say my jaw went through the floor...
Dude.
I fell in love with an Elise 4 years ago.
She offered me a music box playing this music, so i don't forget her.
Then she dumped me like shit... and her malediction came true : i could not forget her, and not hear this music anymore.
This whole story sounds really strange to me.
But you did some good to me with this version of music.

When Beethoven becomes a boss in Undertale
He wrote this piano piece and made it easy for someone he was madly in love with, soon he learned about her engagement and made the rest of the song hard so she will never be able to play it, we can feel and hear all that emotion in the Fur elise.

Essay Question #1: Do you think Beethoven still has a chance with Elise? Why or why not?
Listen on Spotify: bit.ly/FurEliseNightmareSpotify
Piano solo version: ua-cam.com/video/saWgLFerG4Y/v-deo.html
it was suppose to be Fur Therese and not fur elise but because Therese did not want to marry him, he named it fur elise because he misspelled it wrongly and thus made it to a break up
And nope Therese wont have a chance with him no more
He doesn't.
That is unless a corpse can marry another corpse
I got actual chills from this video; the story, the music, the visuals- utterly breathtaking! You are incredible!
Fur Elise has always been one of my absolute favorite melodies. I have several different versions of it. This had made me fall in love with it again. This was haunting and exciting all at the same time. Absolutely Fantastic!! Thank You!!
