Pierce just had Jeep Vanwormer do the same thing to him a couple of races ago and didn't get his spot back , they don't do that . It sucks that they let the person who screwed the other driver keep the spot they stole , regardless of who they are . Saw it live. The crowd never booed so loud as when BP dumped madden. Last lap in turn 4 he dropped off the top and lost a couple spots, the crowd cheers so loud they wer louder than the cars . Walking out there we BP shirts laying everywhere from his fans that threw them on the ground in discuss lol. Shep missed it just a little, but boom didn't. And DM drove with ease the whole race. 🇺🇲🏁☝

Looked like to me that pierce was on the gas hard planning on bombing the top, madden was not quite out of the gas completely, maybe break dragging a bit entering 3. Not off the gas to let the car down off the bars but definitely woahing the car up. Pierce closed quick but definitely didn’t recognize the closing rate he had on madden... maybe he drove through him intentionally.... I don’t think it it was intentional I just think he didn’t react fast enough.

Or there more over to the wall down the front back stretches. To make the turn as wide as they can. I have seen so many cars get spun or tore up. This is why they got rid of signaling stick. There's a reason they didn't send him to the rear or off the track. There's a reason you don't see to many local guys at these big race anymore. They get tore up from the shit these big money teams pull.
Travis Janson I’ve never seen this track in person, but it looks super wide and racey with how wide and round it is. I’m sure that it provides lots of different lines. Lots of 3 or more wide racing

Bobby Pierce needs to check himself and work on driving technique more than aggression. He gets sloppy, I'm surprised he even keeps up with the head of the pack most of the time. But dumping other drivers is no way to go. I loved the battle between Mars, Briggs, and Madden though. Madden saw his opportunity and took it. Takes great skill to drive in tandem like that without wiping out although I think Mars and Briggs got very close
My first memory's in life was being in the pits Literally.. My family runns Street Stocks so anyway my uncle would put me up on the pit row walls to watch during practices on Thursday at 1 of about 4 tracks we used to race at and still do in NC So I was at the track every saturday and one time when I was 11 or 12 my dad took us on a business trip for something new to see andess around up in Michigan and We went to a track their named BERLIN and that was the first time I had ever seen a Race Track with no wall along the back stretch so I thought that was odd but then I started watching a good friends uncle Ray Tucker run in the super late models around nc sc all the way down to Florida And that's when I was introduced to bull rings and cushions with no walls only on the front stretch where they had too be lol So I need someone's expertise on no walls vs walls I mean like Do u save Cars with no walls when your Nott hitting them compared to when their not hitting them If I worded that all fucd up I'm sorry but you prolly Get what I'm asking Anyone everyone what's yaws take on walls to progressive banking without walls
Thomas One thing you have to understand is there are walls all the way but only on the half mile. That is why there are no walls in 3 and 4. And the quarter mile drops onto the half mile on the front and back stretch and one and two so the 1/4 mile is basically wall less . More than a few drivers slipped over the berm in 4, I'm sure they were glad their was no wall. Ask some guys ar FALS last night I bet thy wish there were no walls. Goin' off track into the weeds is gonna cause some damage but not as much as hammering the wall. I've been to both types of track never really gave it a lot of thought.

That's how I seen it to he was blocking. It has become a huge problem in dirt racing. I don't know how many times I have seen a guy put in the wall from blocking. They come off the bottom line and run all the way to the wall. To keep the person running the high line from getting a run on them. Most fans don't realize that's what's happening. They see someone getting dumped. Then assume it the person who hit the person from behind. It was hit Madden or go off the track. We seen what can happen from going off the track that fast on the corner of an open track. If it was intentional they would have sent him to the back or parked him. They got rid of signalling sticks to keep the blocking down to a minimum. But they use the big screens to seen where people are running now.

Ugh I’m really not trying to defend pierce, I’m just analyzing what I saw best I could and using my own racing experience to diagnose what I saw.

That's how I seen it to he was blocking. It has become a huge problem in dirt racing. I don't know how many times I have seen a guy put in the wall from blocking. They come off the bottom line and run all the way to the wall. To keep the person running the high line from getting a run on them. Most fans don't realize that's what's happening. They see someone getting dumped. Then assume it the person who hit the person from behind. It was hit Madden or go off the track. We seen what can happen from going off the track that fast on the corner of an open track. If it was intentional they would have sent him to the back or parked him. They got rid of signalling sticks to keep the blocking down to a minimum. But they use the big screens to seen where people are running now.

Because dirtvision has a bunch of amateurs working in the truck. They have no idea how to do replays nor do they seem to know how to correctly work an audio board. I mean, this is basic stuff you learn in broadcasting classes in college. Not that difficult.
They wouldn't show the car until they new he was alright. It was a bad flip. When they finally showed the replay on dirtvision. I understood why they waited to show it. I was surprised he was hurt.

@@zeke7634 OK, well that sounds good to me. I've been going to late model races for 60 years, I've never worried about late entry, set up, tire choice etc.. It would take the fun out of spectating. If I'm there I'll talk to the involved parties(that's always been something I've enjoyed) or hope that it's now online. In the end sometimes what really happened only the drivers know.
