Two of the most iconic movie monsters fighting it out. And then having to team up to face a greater threat. This seems familiar, but I can't put my kryptonite spear on it
My favorite part is where king Kong bends over and asks Godzilla to count the beetles in his ass and Godzilla atomic breathes his crotch crickets
First thing I said about the movie is that it’s a better BvS
Godzilla invented this idea. What are you talking about lol.
What about a dorsal spine axe?
Technically this movie was planned before BvS
I like how he just crushes it and shakes it off like he did not kill a person in their: 3:56
"Well, not a person I care about in there, gotta up my KDR."
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! This movie is truly perfect escapist entertainment! It also made people go to the theaters again, since COVID caused so much shit! Godzilla Vs. Kong delivered what it was all about, it was a major improvement over Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and this is what people pay to see on the big screen!
Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia (Hottle), an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe. The initial confrontation between the two titans -- instigated by unseen forces -- is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the planet.

The fact that Kong accidentally made a ramp for that jet
It's funny how often fighter jets get slapped out of the air in kaiju movies. Modern jets can engage targets from miles away so there's really no reason for them to ever fly that close to anything.
there’s a lot more people on those navy ships than was counted, but it’s hard to say for sure how many each had so i’ll deal. always fun to watch your vids 🤙
I'd have to agree. A battle ship typically has an excess of 1500 men and a cruiser about 500. Because these ships a buttoned up before combat serious battle damage and sinking generally amount to 50-90% kia. For example, the HMS Hood sunk by the Bismarck, complement 1418. Only 3 survivors.
Fun video though. Especially the Punisher videos
There’s usually 1,000 people or possibly more on them
@@theccpisaparasite8813 yeah I was thinking the same. Even if we don't know how many men each ship have, even if during this scene it was probably less than a complete crew each, it's still much more than just 10 each.
Let’s go you finally did it, this was a great movie even with its flaws, also just saying that in the battleship Godzilla destroyed there were more than 100 people in it, still good! Also can you do Space Amoeba one time?
This really got people to go into theaters again!
I’ve never seen Space Amoeba but Gezora seems like a cool monster so that would be cool :)
I know you're in the middle of death-counting modern films, but I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing King Kong Escapes (1967). Just so you can finally complete the franchise of King Kong.
I'm working on it. :)
@@CarnageCounts Need Dragon Age Dawn Of the Seeker Carnage Count Right
@@CarnageCounts Oh, good.
I also love the count of how many destruction Was caused by Godzilla and Kong 💛🤩🧡🤍💝🤍💚😍😍🥰😍💜💙😀🤩
I still love this movie
Same
Me too and I love the original version of King Kong vs Godzilla 1962
They buffed Kong by giving him an ancient battle axe but he still got PWNED by Godzilla lol
Good movie, but they overdid it with the weird lighting, especially in the Mechagodzilla base, made it look like a bad nightclub
Thanks for another great Carnage Count!
It was better then having them fight in utter darkness, like the previous Godzilla Monsterverse flicks, and the lighting in the main battle between the title characters was lit really amazingly.
Movie takes place 5 years in the future of a universe where there's already a lot more technological advancement than normal.
People complaining in Godzilla (2014) the final battle is too dark. This is because director Edward Gareth prefer natural lighting.
In Godzilla vs Ghidorah (2019) the fight is more colorful although some scenes still dark.
In this movie, they try to fixed that by putting neon lighting
@@boboboy8189 true, though the neon lighting actually makes the fight look really visually pleasing to look at and the focus is, for the most part which I and other people are pleased with, always mostly lept on the kaiju duking it out, instead of just rapidly cutting away from the action to focus on bland human characters.
If you look up how many sailors each ship can carry that Godzilla sunk, his kill count is enormous
If the movie wanted to convey that they could have easily showed any number of people on the ship.
I wouldn’t even DREAM of getting in the way of THESE two titanic icons over here! No sirrie!
Keep up the great work 👍
Shin godzilla carnage count please

What a coincidence, I just watched this movie yesterday.
I love Godzilla vs Kong, my favorite scene is when they fight together against MechaGodzilla, I love these new Kaiju 💙🤎💖🤎💜🤎💕💘💘💗💕❤️💞😄🤍😄😀, I would also love to see the old Kaiju and Godzilla friends battling against the evil Kaiju again
Godzilla has 61 kills

Never stop making these.
People may have disliked the film, but I still liked it

Kong rips the head of mecha godzilla like predator😂
This is one of my favorite movies when I invited my girlfriend to watched the movie.
The Mechagodzilla part is my loveable fights.
Yes I wait
Yay! I found carnage counts again!
I feel however this movie should have a kill count in the several thousands due to the amount of destroyed property
However Like always you've done an amazing job. Welcome back
Head Hunter's kill counts have a more accurate kill count assessment as he includes the people/kaiju/creatures who died on and off screen, Carnage Count seems to focus on kills that are visible on screen only, which is fine.
@@SWDude2710 Anything other than on-screen kills in a movie like this is purely speculation, just like throwing a random number out there.
@@CarnageCounts true, though then again there may be other canonical sources, like books or such, that can give accurate estimates of how many were killed, etc.
@@SWDude2710 that's not what this channel does though, if the movie wanted to show thousands of deaths I would have gladly counted them.
@@CarnageCounts dw, I know that. I'm just saying what I said before just so people know that other people will be able to count off screen kills and such.
Finally, that so awesome
0:42 eating gummy bears or hot Cheetos be like
There are thousands of sailors on all those ships! Not ten each!
Idk how many died in the city .....
Anyway
You missed the Godzilla versus Kong fight in Tokyo at least 5,000 people died
3:56 oh it’s just you ugh
Please do The Matrix 4 Resurrections and Uncharted.
Dude I don't think I can sit through the Matrix 4 again, but I'll get Uncharted done sometime soon.
Didn't Godzilla technically kill Kong before the fight with MechaG ? I mean, with the commotio cordis he caused when he went full berserk
Godzilla injured Kong, not killed him
@@JGMGamer07 True, but if you have seen the film, Godzilla stepped so hard on Kong's torso it caused the latter's heartbeat to slow down and even nearly stop, soooo, yeah, it may count as something fatal in the long run.
@@Monarch-jb8vi It was almost very fatal, but I still don't count that as a kill definitely
I think you're wrong for the number with the ships and the cities, it's much more than that.
Thx for my request on some ideas Carnage Counts! :D
Don't count the fish becus they were out of water so they're already ded
Dunno why, but I like premises like this. Misunderstanding then knowing who the real baddie is, teaming up to destroy said baddie and everyone is happy.
Not to mention those monster designs! And the stuff blowing up, man I feel like a kid again. Heard the plot was just terrible, and never watched it. Still, cool monsters.
Everyone else: Godzilla & Kong are finally getting an updated rematch!
Me: I miss the rubber suits...
What is the next MonsterVerse film?
An untitled Godzilla Vs Kong sequel, it's currently filming.
appearntly its gonna have destoroyah
Hopefully they cancel it
for me I still like this movie.
This movie is really amazing, I'm glad you counted this movie!
So you're telling me, that when godzilla shot up that aircraft carrier, there were three guys on there? The entire carrier?
I can only count what they show me.
Literally all the fish are dead
I Like That Movie.

[snicker]
This is coming from someone who enjoys cheesy movies from Sci-Fi Channel-ish productions but somehow cannot enjoy a good ole' Monster beat-down popcorn flick.
[giggles venomously then disappears into the shadows] 😜
I kind of agree, it was underwhelming. Just things happening but not much of a plot and vapid character stuff. None of the returning character's in any way resembled what they used to be, and tonally this felt very far far removed from what came before. Felt like a cartoon, a dumb one.
I felt the same. My stepdad had the dvd and I ended not paying attention expect for the action scenes
Best Godzilla and Kong movie ever.
Strong disagree.
Can you Upload The Family Mitchell vs The Machines (2021) Plaese
I like this movie
I like the Mortal Kombat fatality Kong does on MechaGodzilla
Burke Class typically has 300 crew and a battleship around 2000. A Ford Class aircraft carrier has way more than that
I only count what they are willing to show me.
@@CarnageCounts of course

That punch Kong gave Godzilla on the aircraft carrier was absolutely brutal.

I usuallt don’t bother correcting videos like this, but I just can’t resist this time😅 If there are 112 kills in a 103min movie? Then how can the KPM end up being 0.991? My other complaint is not as big, but there were a lot more than 6 people on those carriers that Godzilla cut in half. Always looking forward to these, and I can’t even imagine the amount of time it takes to even start counting for these videos. Keep up the good work💪🏻
Hmm I think it was part of a scoreboard for another video. Also I can only count what they show me, if they wanted to show hundred people dying in those ships they certainly could have and i would have gladly counted it.
Actually the KPM is spot on since the runtime is 113 minutes.
Five years after Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah, Kong is monitored by Monarch within a giant dome on Skull Island. Kong is visited by Jia, the last Iwi native and adopted daughter of Kong expert Ilene, who is deaf and communicates with Kong via sign language.
Hayes, an employee of Apex Cybernetics and host of a Titan conspiracy podcast, extracts data suggesting sinister activities at Apex's Pensacola facility. However, Godzilla suddenly attacks the facility; Bernie stumbles on a massive device during the rampage. Madison, a listener of Bernie's podcast, enlists her friend Josh to investigate Godzilla's attacks.
Apex CEO Walter recruits Nathan, a former Monarch scientist, and Hollow Earth theorist, to guide a search for a power source into the Hollow Earth, the homeworld of the Titans. Nathan is initially hesitant as his brother died in an expedition to the Hollow Earth due to a strong reverse-gravitational effect. He agrees after Walter reveals that Apex has developed HEAVs, specialized crafts able to withstand the pressure exerted by the gravity field.
Nathan convinces Ilene to let Kong guide them through the Hollow Earth via an outpost in Antarctica. Nathan, Ilene, and an Apex team led by Walter's daughter Maia board a modified barge escorted by the U.S. Navy that carries a sedated and restrained Kong. Godzilla attacks the convoy and defeats Kong but retreats after the ships disable their power and trick him into thinking they are destroyed. To avoid alerting Godzilla, Kong is airlifted to the Hollow Earth entrance, and Jia convinces him to enter the tunnel while the team follows him in the HEAVs.
Madison and Josh find Bernie, who joins their investigation. They sneak into the wrecked Apex base, discover a secret facility underground, and are inadvertently locked into an underground hyperloop-type transport to Apex headquarters in Hong Kong, where they unwittingly stumble on a test of Mechagodzilla. It is telepathically controlled by Ren, the son of the late Ishirō Serizawa through the neural networks from the skull of a severed Ghidorah head but is hobbled by its power supply's limitations. Walter intends to harness the Hollow Earth's energy to overcome Mechagodzilla's limitations.
Inside the Hollow Earth, Kong and the team find an ecosystem similar to Skull Island. They discover his species' ancestral throne room, where they find remains of an ancient war with Godzilla's kind and a glowing axe made from another Godzilla's dorsal plates. As they identify the power source, the Apex team sends its signature back to their Hong Kong base despite Ilene's protests. Attracted by Mechagodzilla's activation, Godzilla arrives in Hong Kong. Sensing Kong, Godzilla directly drills a shaft to the throne room with his atomic breath. Maia and the Apex team attempt to escape in the ensuing mayhem, but their HEAV is crushed by Kong. Kong, Ilene, Jia, and Nathan ascend to Hong Kong, where Kong engages Godzilla in a final battle. Kong initially gains the upper hand; however, Godzilla emerges victorious after incapacitating Kong.
Madison, Josh, and Bernie are caught by security and taken to Walter. Despite Ren's concerns over the power source's volatility, Walter orders him to activate Mechagodzilla. Now possessed by Ghidorah's consciousness, Mechagodzilla kills Walter, electrocutes Ren, engages Godzilla in battle, and eventually overwhelms him. Nathan revives Kong by destroying the HEAV on his chest, and Jia convinces him to help Godzilla. As Mechagodzilla overpowers both Titans, Josh short-circuits Mechagodzilla's controls with Bernie's flask of liquor on its control panel, momentarily interrupting the mech. Godzilla charges Kong's axe with his atomic breath, allowing Kong to destroy Mechagodzilla. Madison, Bernie, and Josh reunite with Mark, while Godzilla and Kong agree to a truce before going their separate ways.
Sometime later, Monarch has established an observation post in the Hollow Earth, where Kong now rules.
Kong is now a kaiju.
Idk about this carnage count. This is all guessing 😂

Shin Godzilla please
I did it years ago and Toho took it down unfortunately.
@@CarnageCounts why?
@@felixsihombing4300 Toho did not want it on UA-cam so had it removed. They did not give a reason.

P.S Now that Kaiju week is over what is this week going to be?
One more week of kaiju actually haha
@@CarnageCounts Okay. Good to know.

The original Toho Godzilla movies weren't exactly known for their stellar writing themselves. Not everything has to have a good story for side(human) characters. It was cliche as heck with the random team up against Mecha Godzilla though. The main point was just dumb fun and escapism after 2 years of Covid lockdowns.
178 deaths.
There was a plot but it was cut to shreds in post production in order to cater to the people that didn't like previous movies.
"This was terrible": What???? I mean, yeah the plot is dumb and the characterization is....not all there (then again, characterization is not usually a strong point for the MV so I'm torn) but hey, its fun at least. Escapism fun to put it lightly. But hey, its not the end. We have Netflix's Skull Island coming up (and before you ask, YES its by the same people behind the Castlevania TV show), so you (and the Kaiju community) have time to prepare....assuming if the people saying its coming sometime this year are right but I'm not holding my breath cause we still haven't seen a F***ING TRAILER OR RELEASE DATE!!!!!! Also, thanks for FINALLY covering this film.
Godzilla characters that should be put in monsterverse
Jet Jaguar
King Caesar
Anguirus
Battra
Monster X/Kaiser Ghidorah
Gigan
Destroyah
Spacegodzilla
The kills per minute should be the other way around (112/103, not 103/112).
Oh and i know im late on the samurai week, but i recommend Ran
Carnage Count Of Gamera: Guardian of the universe. (1995)
Ooooh Spooky.
Interesting.

So I understand the counting of the fish eaten, but shouldn't all of them count since even the uneaten ones are ya know.....dead? love your work and been a sub for years now.
Probably should have counted them but also not positive they were dead.
For me, it wasn't just the bad plot. The movie has a poor sense of scaling. They're supposed to be gaint monsters, wrecking havocs in cities, but the cities resemble a playground more than, well, a city.
2:40 DOUG!
I love this film and the original 1962 version (well except for the guy who keep saying we need kong the world needs him it’s fucking annoying)
My favorite movie in the history thes is too greit
112 ? Acho que você quis dizer 146
👍🏻
Given how bad this movie was, watching the kill count for it was much more entertaining >_
I would love this even more if there were less human scenes but hey at least we get see kaijus wreak havoc.
Kong wins, mechality.
Almost like they should have made these American monsters movies about the monsters and not Bryan Cranston.
You people should remember there are movie plots you love that others despise so don't act like your "this movie's terrible" judgement is above all else, saying that people who defend it are wrong. It's really rude.
Speaking of rude, "Godzilla Vs King Kong" 🤦♂️ OMFG it's Kong, not King Kong damnit. I'm so tired of stupid-a** people calling things whatever they feel like and having the audacity to pretend it's correct, like the whole Rexy thing for Jurassic Park even though her actual name is Roberta, just because she's Rexy in the books doesn't mean it's the same for the movies. Same goes for Kong, there is no King in the name, in the MonsterVerse it's just Kong, this isn't 1933 or 2005 or god knows whichever other movie where there's King in the name 😒
yeah thats cool and all but why didnt King Kong use his axe more often
@@copper438 Apes are used more to hand-to-hand combat, so in his fight with Godzilla Kong defended with the axe long range but used fists up close, while in the last fight the axe wasn't charged until the final moment so it was pretty much useless against Mechagodzilla.
@@bggsz4 but still he had many chances to use it
I'm not saying people who defend this movie are wrong, I'm saying it's an inherently terrible script and poorly executed.
"I'm tired of stupid-ass people calling things whatever they feel like and having the audacity to pretend it's correct". They literally took a character named "King Kong" and removed the King part, effectively calling him "whatever they feel like". If anything the monsterverse made up their own thing, which is fine, but they literally called it whatever they liked and acted like it was correct.
I never do watch any vs movies because I can never tell if they have an actual plot
There were 112 kills in Godzilla vs Kong.
OK that was so gross 😝

@@CarnageCounts Can You Please Do The Kill Count Of Fast and furious 9 including Free Guy, Ghostbusters Afterlife and Sonic The Hedgehog 2 movie If That’s Okay.
yeah I really didn't like the movie, either
there's only one thing that bugged me about this movie, and thats the fact im pretty sure all 3 heads from gidora were destroyed in the 2nd film, so how did they come across a gidora skull?
In Godzilla King of the monsters:- After Rodan was released in Isla de Mara, Godzilla & Ghidorah tussles with Godzilla biting off the left head...
... Which Alan Jonah bought then secretly sold to Apex Cybernetics to be used as the CPU for..... Something
There's a post credit scene showing one of the heads surviving. It's a garbage franchise
@@CarnageCounts why so much hate man.
