When I was a little kid my late Dad would read The Berenstain Bears and The Missing Dinosaur Bone to me from time to time He would always call it The DINOSAUR BONE So that is what I thought the book was actually called I always loved it when he called it that because it sounds ominous and sends a chill down my spine Even though nowadays I know the actual name of the book when I read the story I liked to call it The DINOSAUR BONE 1. It's sounds ominous 2. It's a great memory of my late Dad Who I miss everyday😢 I love you Dad, and the way you read me stories I always will❤
4:27 I couldn't help but laugh the first time I saw this. This is probably the first time in history a detective's animal assistant was confirmed to be the culprit.
No Beginner Book Video promo at the end of this tape. In The Bears' Christmas, it does have Beginner Book Video promo at the end. And also, Are You My Mother, I Am Not Going to Get Up Today, and the different print tapes of Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Video are does have Beginner Book Video promo.
@@brianodonnell4496 No BBV promo at the end. Only tapes that carry that promo at the end are Yertle the Turtle, Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?, and Dr. Seuss's Sleep Book.
About the premise of The Berenstain Bears and the Missing Dinosaur Bone being that The Bear Detectives have a fixed amount of time to find the missing bone, when one has a fixed amount of time to do something, I call it a rose and whatever unit of time applies to the situation I call a petal (in this story, the petals would refer to minutes, but with a coupon that expires, the petals would refer to days). Can anybody understand the origin of this expression?
I swear I saw the partially animated hand of actual pulling the chain on the light in the mummy’s tomb when I watched this as a little kid Is this the Mandela Effect taking place?
Why is Papa and Mama with other cubs in the beginning of the video? This book is different from the cartoon. Where is Papa in first two stories? He should held responsible for all those cubs in the Bears in the night.
I used to wonder that myself, who the other children were I just sort of assumed later on that maybe the Bears had a family gathering and those are Brother Bear’s cousin(and possibly Sister Bear without her bow) Although when I was like 2 my mom did read me the Berenstein Bears and the Double Dare. I thought the leading bear was Too-Tall Grizzly (cus when he gets out of bed he looks taller and somewhat sinister)
I always wondered why the hell they were leaving their bed and roaming around in the dark. As an infant it was unsettling to me Of course I suppose they were simply unsettled by the hooting and decided to investigate
@@brianodonnell4496 True, and you know, they kept Jim Thurman around for some flimstrips. Not only that, but the Dr. Seuss wiki has more beginner book videos.
The Berenstain Bears and the Missing Dinosaur Bone (0:32 - 4:44)
Bears in the Night (4:45 - 7:05)
The Bear Detectives (7:05 - 14:28)
Owned this VHS tape as a child. Really brings me back. Thanks for uploading.
I remember getting this on Christmas when I was just I think 5 or 6. Had that, and The Bears’ Christmas.
I have that video and I haven’t seen that in a long time. Thanks for uploading this video, the last story was hilarious 😆.
Checked this VHS out from the local library a bit when I was a kid. Somehow it seemed longer than just 15 minutes.

The ending theme sounds like it should of been the opening to an 80's sitcom

It would’ve been interesting if there was a First Time Video VHS that included The Missing Dinosaur Bone and The Missing Pumpkin
No Girls Allowed did.
Farmer Ben should be mad at his wife for taking his prize pumpkin.
Everybody got a pumpkin pie
I wouldn’t complain
mummy case box made out of stone do not scare me thank you🤠🧐
Any plans to upload "The Bear's Christmas"? If you own a copy of it that is.
Do you take donations? I can possibly spare you an extra copy.

Cheap animation tbh, feels like a slide show
Not just that, but at the time, there were some great voice actors.
