Thanks for answering my question guys. I think most players respect fans, and most fans respect players. The 5% bad ones you were talking about, I think there are 5% of players too. The players who don't like fans and don't respect the fact that some fans have loved the team for DECADES. While they have been playing for them for 1 or 2 years.

It is interesting to see the difference between countries and how players are treated. I'm from New Zealand, and it's small enough that you end up meeting pretty much every big sports name at some point, so it isn't a big deal. Always crazy to see the American fans in action 😂😂
Big fan lads, Centre for a team in NZs premiere football league and I've learned heaps from your breakdowns

I love you guys, so authentic so knowledgeable its really refreshing, and really great guys with a love for football. If I were to make one criticism its that I can't share most of your videos with my younger sons with all the F Bombs. My 15 year old is already impressionable enough I don't need that in his videos. Just take it down a notch and I think you got it! Nice job!

I remember when Boone signed with the Vikings and I saw him at the rooftop bar at cowboy jacks. I was with my brother in law and both of us for the first time felt small. I was 6’4 230lbs and my brother in law my brother in law was 6’6 285lbs. Dudes a grown ass man!

Yeah, I saw Boone when I was doing PT at Training Haus awhile back, wanted to talk to him but was too scared lmao. He also looked hella busy getting the guys ready for the combine, so didn’t want to intrude either way

I lived in Boston when the ball went through Buckner's legs. Next day, the guys at the Y where I worked out in Cambridge were talking about how obviously the players didn't really care, since the players were getting paid, and all the guys on the field just had blank stares. Yeah - BECAUSE THEY WERE GUTTED. There is always this weird disconnect between fans' emotions, and fans' read on players' emotions. As if you have to "perform" your emotions for them as some kind of rite.

My go-to line for this: "People laugh at funerals."

In High School, my wrestling team raided the cafeteria when they left out donuts (our practice area was the student lunch room). Never leave food unattended around starving wrestlers!😁

DFQ: In a perfect storm scenario, Darnold and KOC are clicking and Darnold throws for 4000yds, 40tds, and 10int. Do the Vikings sign or entertain signing Darnold to a long term deal as the franchise QB?

I feel so bad for the players who make the big, obvious mistake that gets them the blame for a devastating loss. Imagine your punt returner gets injured in the playoffs, so you have to back him up and your first NFL punt returns ever will be in an NFC Championship game. You screw it up, and your name becomes a curse word in northern California. No matter how upset that loss made me, I can't imagine what it was like for him. There was the emotional burden of losing that game, but it also devastated his actual career and people sent him death threats. It's been 12 years, and I get a bad taste in my mouth every time I think his name; all that tells me is that I'm way too emotionally invested in this kid's game. If I were ever to say anything to him, it would be relentlessly positive. More likely, I wouldn't say anything at all. I would never even consider saying anything negative to him.

I'm so lucky the biggest mistakes I've made in my life weren't nationally televised.

I guess I'm not a fan or whatever because I never felt the urge to yell at a single player. The team yes, but not any individual. It just feels like you're barking up the wrong tree. Football is so complex it never seemed to me like it was ever one person's fault, maybe the QB but that's it. Like one receiver didn't make a crucial catch. So what? If some other receiver made his catch, or some o-linemen got their blocks, or some running back got an extra few yards, that one crucial catch wouldn't have been so crucial. Nothing happens in isolation, so it doesn't make sense to isolate one player out for the failure of the team.
