I'm really glad that they made an english and swedish version. once you kinda get bored from 1 version you just listen to the other and the fire is ignited again.

when i first listened to it, i abused the english version. in my ignorance i assumed the swedish version would be the same, so i didn't listen to it back then. i am currently abusing the repeat button on the swedish version. there is so much power behind it, though!

Carolus Rex is truly their magnus opus. That album got everything right, and even though I haven't really listened to the Swedish version much (because I can't understand it), the English version alone already kicks major ass.
Needless to say, great video, and hopefully, I'll be able to see them again at some point in time. They're always great to see live, and their interaction with the crowd is always funny.

For me, the English chorus is more ferocious. The repetitive assonance on the four esses of "To the sky, see Carolus rise" blasts it into metal history. Either way, both versions are brutally good.

KageWandara Saw them this year in Halden, at Tons of Rock festival. We started by chanting Swedish Pagans, and the after a long concert, finally played it!
I recommend that any fan of rock or metal see these guys live at least once. They are true showmen, and really put their hearts into the performance .

I attended a seminar about Carolus with Bengt Liljegrän, the man Sabaton went to for sources when writing Carolus Rex, and he said there are many myths about Carolus, but most of them are false.

both are good, but they were doing this in sweden (Falun, hence "Falun! Är ni redo för Carolus Rex?!") so they did the swedish version

+Carlos .Juárez To me it's easily overdubbing, the fast fret changing part is much shorter than you see him play there, so it's an overdub. Bad editing would have it show correctly but delayed, not misplayed.
