It is heartening to see the guy that drew your house, the man who built it, the one where you bought pretty much all of your furniture and fittings, the guy where you stored your boat and the man on whose bar you kind of spent your formative years.... And I am somewhat jealous of those kids who can call this place actually home ....

Thank you for a wonderful insight to the construction of Empuriabrava. I recognize some of the characters as local businessmen and have the greatest respect for the instigators of this "one time project". Ecologically it would be impossible to replicate such a project in Europe today, but I am glad they did it when hey could.
Esta muy bien este reportaje. Gran parte de la población de Castelló d'Empúries no lo veían con buenos ojos. Ahora el pueblo de agricultores se ha convertido en una pequeña joya con todo el dinero que se esta gastando el Ajuntament. Lo que encuentro triste es que no se invierte mas en Empuriabrava, que es el motor de Castelló.
Vaig tenir el honor de tractar amb el Sr. Arpa pare, mentre treballava pel seu fill al Club Nàutic, un gran senyor que a vegades em demanava fes algunes feines per ell i m'ho pagava a mes del sou! Un senyor que imposava amb la seva presència
