So far I'll say Witch from Mercury is a great series. Seems all the HG WfM kits thus far have been pretty amazing so I'd really expect this FM Aerial to be super nice. Sadly I haven't been able to preorder any Witch from Mercury kits yet as they seem to sell out so fast. Also I couldn't agree with you more about the MG Barbatos, it is truly special (was my first MG)!!!! Glad to see you put out a new video after a while. I look forward to the next one!!!
Thanks for the input I almost bought the lfrith but It sold out. I'm torn awesome it's selling good. But sad it's sold out. Maybe it will nudge bandai to release an mg.
I've been loving Witch From Mercury so far. I've been a casual fan of the kits for a long time but this is the first time that a show has really grabbed me and pulled me into the franchise. It's definitely different, and I've heard a lot of more old-school Gundam fans saying they're having trouble really connecting with it, but I think that focus on themes that are more important to the younger generation-- feminine perspectives, queerness, the flaws of capitalism, and trying to break away from our parents and learn not to repeat their mistakes-- is a lot of why it's become so popular, and it's certainly gotten me interested in exploring the rest of the franchise in a way that I never was before. I'm super excited to start getting all the Aerial kits as soon as they start being reasonably priced again, and I can't wait to see what they do with kits after this first run now that the Aerial has proven to be so popular. As soon as I saw the glowing shell units I thought "man, that's gonna make a really spectacular perfect grade in like 15 years when they get around to it."
Wow thanks for taking time to write such an elaborate comment. Now that's an interesting thought 🤔 a PG Aerial that would be something I can imagine strobe lights under those veins. And an elaborate cockpit. 😊
4 years and 9 months. That's how long it took for the release of the MG Barbatos after the 1st episode debuted. Give it a minute, Bandai will reveal the Master Grade Ariel on whatever timetable they feel like.
I love larger models tbh because I built a RG Wing zero and was unimpressed. The detail was great but it was just small. I would definitely buy a 1/100 even if it was a HG replica but the details added is nice
I agree, I remember seeing the RG wing zero when it was first released in the hobby shop and I could believe I was staring at a RG. And I do prefer bigger, most of my HG kits are mostly bigger hg kits
I've loved the Aerial's design so much that I bought 2 HG, one for customization, but what has disappointed me so far about the Full Mechanics version (based on the cgi shown in the pre-sale page) is how there is no cabin for the pilot. There is a guy here in UA-cam who made his own Aerial MG version with a cabin that when opened moves the chest plates in an amazing manner that this official FM looks lacking.
Yes I’m a huge fan of pilot cabins on gunpla, if you watch my ‘why we love mg video’ you probably already know. And yes Bandai needs to up the cockpit design to one up that Ray studio Aerial.
Literally Yesterday, there were 6 stocks left and the page refreshed after I clicked add to cart, then its already out of stock Everyone want a piece of Gundam Aerial
I would love a master grade version, but with the fully articulating fingers like the master grade of Sazabi. My two favorites that I have are MG Sazabi Ver Ka and MG Barbatos. Sazabi for its size and details with all of its thrusters, and Barbatos for how sleek yet threatening it looks and all the details it has with the hydraulics
Oh Sazabi... That's one of the best looking MG kits ... Problem with those fully articulated hands are they're big... made for big Gundam. So I agree since a MG aerial is a new line of MG perhaps they should make a new type of hands that are fully articulated yet smaller... It's a famine looking kit anyway. I'm yet to build my Barbatos. Perhaps I'll build it when that Barbie movie comes out 😜
@Toyama23 Hobby Channel my biggest issue with the hands of Sazabi is that the wrist ball joint keeping coming off the socket when I try to move the rifle
I really hope the Lfrith gets a 1/100 scale kit aswell. It's my second favorite MS right behind the Unicorn, Aerial is right behind it.. but it'd be super sick to have the two in a bigger scale!
I'm definitely looking forward to this one, and if they make a master grade at some point I'll probably buy that one too, and paint one or the other as an Lfrith (it's close enough and I just like pink on a mobile suit). I can't imagine they don't make an MG though, but I guess we'll see.
I did pre-order one, havent touch gunpla since i was in highschool so excited to build it as for the anime its great very different that other AU gundam series but great nontheless.
Honestly, from the look of it, they are just stopping half a step from making a full on Master Grade kit. The detail is nice, and the engineering inside is quite outstanding. I’d definitely get this FM Aerial.
Yo! What is that red titanium jet called?? Is yours a model kit? I have the exact same one from when I was a kid but I never knew it's name or from what title it's from and it's not titanium coated. Does it transform as well?
So psyched to give a fellow hobbyist a nostalgia bomb! It's called the Valkyries VF-19 form the series Macross7. Yes it transforms into 2 different modes.
I thought you got it early or something. Things to watch out for non-MG 1/100 is the weight issue. If they cut corners just to make a quick and cheap 1/100, usually the joints can't handle the weight and ended up as a flimsy model. Hope this won't be the case.
We have seen what has happened in the west when women become the focus for pop culture... Star Wars, Marvel and gaming so hopefully Bandai don't make the same mistake
It is most welcome for MG Aerial. I'm still waiting for MG Vidar
I'm surprised they didn't release more mg ibo kits. I'm waiting on a astaroth origin
@@Toyama23HobbyChannel Yeah... I'm expecting there is no MG Vidar. Or Pandai will release it when the builder less expecting.
@@Toyama23HobbyChannel but this year is a joke for standard released MG. There are only 2 recycled MG and a MGEX.
I feel like they'd do either another barbatos for or the gusion rebake first.
For me, i'll wait for my kimaris trooper MG and Grimgerde, the 1/100 is my favorite, but it needs MG treatment

got into gundam like 2 weeks ago coz I saw the hg aerial and thought it looked cool af, would love to get that full mechanics version too...
Those HG Gwitch kits are something else compared to other HG kits. Welcome to the hobby!

Full Mechanics doesn't have the opening cockpit gimmick like Real Grade or Master Grade
@@manamaster6 yes Astrays are a solid MG out of the box, also there's plenty of cool add ons but those need a little fix as they're loose out of box

Glad to have more hobby head video really like these

I like the lfrith too… great HG!
So happy to make this video
I like how they make the tight facing more inward, so its look smaller..
The FM kenbu is one of my fav kits, it's huge, super poseable and has more detail than the Kyoukai Senki HG kits
Makes me consider it again, can't decide if I want the zan or original
@@Toyama23HobbyChannel the zan does look pretty cool...
I’m hoping Full mechanics Aerial will be available everywhere
It had the order stop status after 2 minutes
Oh, I feel for you bro, happen with me buying a few kits before.
There are some new pics that show some of the detail, and to me, they look even better than the CG model
Found that out after I posted the video 😂
@@Toyama23HobbyChannel hopefuly we might get more pics a few days before its release
They are starting to pump out kits for this series
Yes they are esp in the HG but man are they way more crazier looking but awesome
Gotta keep up with that ravenously demand. They arrive in store and are sold-out in a day or two.
U got a point of the details on the Aerial FM. I have the Barbatos FM/ w dragon king conversion kit. I should’ve wait till FM Aerial comes out… 🤦♂️
Conversion kit you must be good at customizing
I did pre-order one, havent touch gunpla since i was in highschool so excited to build it as for the anime its great very different that other AU gundam series but great nontheless.
Great will check excited to check it out!
I think mg will come when the the engineering gets even better because fm looks good already
there is a clear difference between HG and FM,,, have you any detail for each part of differences?
Only the pictures, found out that bandai actually has the FM beyond prototype already after I posted the video.
damn I can't unsee the shoulders now, they look so tall
Woops

Mg aerial probably is like a 1/100 scale RG.
Yeah, but with a pilot in the cokpit and pilot figures
3 months later, hg aerial is still sold out where I'm from
Maybe try for the new p Bandai release… I’m joking. Feel for you bro.
I think aerial will get the mg ex and get the full light gimmick like the unicorn
I like the idea of strobing lights, but when there are lights involved the price boosts crazy high.
Havent really seen how mgex Unicorn led works but i assume pg exia led is the closest to what mgex/pg aerial could also use for led effects
I think I'll wait for the mg version. Unless there will be no mg version.
I thought you got it early or something.

No, I’m not sponsored, just a hobbyist that like to speculate. And probably read in too deep.
I got one of the kenbu's with the clear parts
Good for you!
if the looks and proportion of it is near Ray Studio's custom 1/100 Aerial, then I'm good with it.
Oh yeah bandai needs to have that same cockpit design, just do a better job at the pilot.
FM IBO: I don't think so
😂
cant wait for mg need to get deez!
Indeed get deez
Seems kinda repetitive to release an hg then a couple of months later a full mechanics of the aerial
I know which makes me think an MG is years away.
Ver. Ray Studio is still better.
I agree, and bandai needs to one up that guy with a MG!
The eyes were to big for me.

We have seen what has happened in the west when women become the focus for pop culture... Star Wars, Marvel and gaming so hopefully Bandai don't make the same mistake
So we agree Hg Aerial is so bruh?
If you mean the hg is great yes it is!
Better than HG? The Full mechanics line are basically just 1/100 HGs
Yeah or a tone down MG
No offense but Gundam Aerial is fugly & its design is childish & not “Gundam”
Non taken, I know not all Gundam design appeals to all. Thanks for sharing
"Childish" as opposed to what, the UC humanoid walking cardboard boxes?
@@haihuynh8772 as opposed to a toyish design & as an engineer it doesn’t look “convincing & practical”. Suitable to kids actually.
