Hey pal, franchise veteran here. The reason the CPU is controlling your rosters and lineups is because somewhere in the simulation process it is prompting you to do something with your lineups or rosters and you're hitting square or AUTO UTILIZE. If thats not it, the 100% in the offseason youre setting something to auto in the contract signing period. You can change this very easily in your mode specific settings. So as soon as you realize its happening, go into those settings and ill bet you they got toggled to auto. The game used to do this in previous years on its own. It no longer does. They finally fixed that either this year or last. But it can happen under your nose by certain decisions your making not realizing that its changing your settings.
Using clips from "Interstellar" to illustrate your internal reactions to what happened during your 2nd-year draft was exceptional. I empathize with you, man.
something about your rebuilds is perfect for me to fall asleep to AND watch awake, it takes a great video to do that for me. please keep it up. also might i suggest the blue jays next? since we are so disappointing this year. like beyond disappointing
I'm doing a Rockies draft-only franchise right now, and after the first season I cut my entire 40-man roster and replaced them all with UFA's and drafted 26 players in the Rule 5 draft (not allowed to sign FAs unless they were my players that previous season). I'm 5 years in, and our loss totals have been 115 (with their real roster), 132, 110, 100 & 105. Yes, we only won 30 games in Year 2...LOL
If I ever see a guy whos above the age of 19 who opts out I just assume hes injured if he has great numbers. I usually will be willing to take a player who is not an opt out even if hes just 80% as good as the other guy because the opt out guys when they turn out to be injured it always kills their stats and opt out 18 and 19 year olds are rarer in my experience especially if they are generational so I just avoid anyone over 20 who has the opt out tag in round 1
I was moreso trying to restrict myself from getting Ace-level production, hence forcing myself to draft worse pitching prospects. I didn't want to get a generational talent pitched with Pick 1.
such a great payoff with the interstellar clips lmao. very well played
also i love the intros in these. it creates a context and raises the emotional stakes of the rebuild. good stuff man

Love the movie and it was my honest reaction to seeing the picks after I made them. Glad you liked it!
@@bigirrelevant I would have been mine too.
Go Rockies! 😊
Lol love the Scott Sterling inclusion 😂

Oh don't you worry! Should be out tonight!
The outfield is very spacious too so you'll need fast outfielders with strong arms otherwise triples and even inside the park HR will be common

You’ve been on a roll lately bro keep it up
Cavalli is my cousin, love seeing him in these yt rebuilds that I watch
Devin Williams the playoff choker and Mike Soroka the playoff god. What a world we live in
The ball doesn't move as much in Coors. Seems to not effect Soroka as much as the Airbender
Great stuff again bro !
Love the videos and editing. Hopefully you get in on other sports franchise/dynasty modes (NCAA 🤞🏼)
Excited to watch this! I’m doing my own Rockies “realistic” rebuild, on year 5 just made the wild card 😂
Any tips for scouting?
dude can you PLEEEEAAASSEEEE do a scouting and draft tutorial? please please please
Why can't I download this video 😭
I think you need 20 starters and 20 rp otherwise they’ll sign and fill im pretty sure that’s the case
Yeah, It's just funny to me that it's always Willie Calhoun
Fuck w the series but not being able to draft pitching don’t make sense
