    Thanks for this! I was standing in the hot Sun trying to load my stroller into the trunk. Search this up and voila, stroller in trunk. Feeling cool

    Hello, is there an handbrake on this stroller, or something to keep the control when it is pushed down hill? I found this feature very rare and so crucial for small and lightweight mother. I look for a very narrow, short, lightweight, all terrain wheels pram with handbrake, impossible.

    How does this maneuver on asphalt, uneven sidewalks, at play grounds, and on grass? I’m wanting a car stroller to replace my Zoe that does a bit better on various terrains.

    Hi Eli, thanks for the in depth review. We had our second baby a few months ago and now we are planning to take our 2 girls to disney world next month. Valco duo snap trend caught our eye. The only question is that will the carset adapter work with nuna pipa lite from 2018? I saw on your website it says for nuna 2020/2021

    Hi! I am having my second baby (I have a 1.5 year old) and we use maxi cosi infant carseats. Would you recommend this or the bumbleride indie twin more? My toddler is tall, so I wanted to make sure the leg support is good on whatever we choose. Is there a big difference in the feel of how it handles? We don't jog with them, but we do like to go on neighborhood strolls, to football games, and to the zoo/park. Thank you!

      Hi Shelby! The Indie Twin will have a smoother push over more kinds of terrain than the Snap Duo Trend since it has air-filled tires. The Snap Duo Trend weighs less though, so it is more convenient if it will be in and out of the car a lot or if you need to carry it. Both should have enough leg support for tall kiddos :) Hope this helps! If you need more information you should book a consultation with one of our experts who can compare the strollers with you one-on-one and even measure the leg rests if you'd like! Can you confirm which infant car seats are adaptable? In previous comments you mentioned a universal adapter but also confirmed Nuna and Maxi Cosi work. Can you confirm if Uppababy works? Thanks!

      Hi there! Yes the universal adapter works with the Mesa but it does not click like the maxi cosi style adapters.

    Hi Eli, we are about to have our second baby and already have a bugaboo donkey duo which I’ve used in mono for our first. I love it and it’s been great for our farm and longer walks etc so will still use it for that but I’m looking for something more compact and lightweight we can do road trips with and isn’t as heavy to lift in and out of the car for quick shopping trips etc that I don’t have to take apart and want it to be car seat compatible. Would you recommend the Valco Snap Duo to complement the donkey or something else that is smaller? I’ve looked at the MB Nano Duo and also the BJCT double and Maclaren double but the last two aren’t car seat compatible. What is the fold size like of the valco snap duo in comparison to the donkey in duo mode? Thanks for your help! 😊

    • @MagicBeansVideos
      @MagicBeansVideos  3 роки тому

      The Valco is definitely larger, any double will be. Single Mode of the Donkey is actually incredibly small even for a single stroller. When compared to the double mode of the Donkey its about the same size as the Valco. We can help more at mbeans.com/consultations!

      Hi brigid93, in your exact scenario right now. We have the Donkey 5 Duo but the wife also wants something lightweight for the car for the stores. We were looking at the Uppababy G-Link V2 and the Valco Slim in addition to the Valco Snap Duo. She also doesn’t want, how did she put it…doll stroller wheels. We don’t need infant compatible but concerned about the narrow seats on the slim). Would love to know what you went with? Thanks.

      Ok… glad I’m not alone! I’m ALSO in the same boat. I got the Donkey 5, from Magic Beans actually, and it’s just too bulky/heavy for short trips and daily use. My twins are 5 mo and are ready for the big kid seats. I can’t figure out how to fit the seats and the Donkey in my trunk. (I drive a SUV) so no I’m here searching for a double stroller. I am really looking into the Valco Duo. I’m entertaining the idea of the slim… but not sure. I was considering the Zoe but like your wife mentioned… I don’t like the doll wheels 😂 I’d love to know what you eventually went with!

      @@edsta714 Sorry I only just saw this! Did you end up choosing another stroller? Bit of a long answer coming up!
      We ended up with a couple more strollers haha. We own too many, it’s a bit ridiculous. We are in Australia so I’m not sure about Mountain Buggy availability in the US but we went with the Mountain Buggy Nano duo version 2. It’s a great stroller and much, much more compact than the Donkey when folded (like really small for a double) but it does have smaller wheels but they’re absolutely fine on footpaths/ smoother surfaces especially if it’s mainly for use in stores and everyday suburban or city life. It’s so much lighter to lift in and out of the car and carry inside etc. It was between that and the BJ City Tour Double and we went with the MB (with a carrycot too) purely because we could use it with a car seat, but of course in the end we only did this a couple times. I really loved how small the Baby Jogger was too. I still love our Donkey for local walks and when our second was born we did still use it a lot at the shops and out and about just because I did really love the bassinet and extra basket space and our first baby was only 15 months old. We would alternate between the toddler board or using both seats. But if we were travelling we’d always take the nano. Now that our girls are 22 months and just 3 we almost always use our Yo Yo 2 with toddler board, but I’d say since having two we’ve used each stroller quite a bit for different scenarios.
      I’m not sure if that helped or confused you but I’d definitely recommend a more compact double or a Yoyo plus toddler board in combination with a Donkey (which I do agree isn’t too wide when set up but it’s just the getting it in and out if the car and how much room it takes up despite how much I love it). Good luck!

      @@autumnpiazza9027 I just did a long reply above! It’s funny how we are/ were all in this situation. With twins I’d definitely recommend a smaller travel style double. I love how small both the MB Nano Duo and BJ City Tour double fold. It makes such a difference for the car despite how much I love the Donkey. Then if you’re worried about a situation where you need bigger wheels you could always take the Donkey. We just assess then take the best suited stroller for the day. Let me know if you need any more details, I looked at/ researched so many. Good luck!
