The most terrifying idea in this game is the prospect of conducting an onsite maintenance job 140 million miles away from the nearest Home Depot.

I killed this game in about 4 hours. I would consider it a short but sweet experience (almost like a movie) it reminds me of this other game I recently played called “Gylt” if you enjoyed fort solis maybe try Gylt. It’s not a particularly hard game but the atmosphere is definitely a standout quality.

Nice job. Ever thought about deconstructing some of the characters in Röki? It's an indie adventure game that follows the journey of a young girl named Tove, as she explores an ancient forest inspired by Scandianvan fairy tales and folklore. And this game has got one seriously messed up mother-son relationship between the main antagonist and titular character.

I like watching your videos, you give so much in depth to each character, world building and environments in video games that I totally mist and makes me think twice on how I like, dislike or misunderstood them keep up the good work. 👍

Yo Brett. Loved your gow character essays and I have to say, if you did essays about the character development of people from red dead redemption 2 that would be just as amazing.

I’m Deeply Intrigued with the idea of a Dutch Video with the start of the Vanderlin Gang starting with him and Hosea picking up and teaching Arther as a boy eventually becoming Dutch Right Hand Man a man he considered to be his own son As well as the Strongest Member of The Vanderlin Gang. His dispute With Cole O’driscal him losing both the love of his life while killing Cole’s Brother. And how he felt after watching him hang. Him Losing His Mind After the Death Of Hosea. Which was the only member allowed to question Dutch with his plans however after he passed only Arther had the authority and permission to question Dutch leading him to believe Arther was against him while Micah being a yes man gained the trust of Dutch and manipulated him to start a new with just the 2 of them which with the help of John Dutch Killed Micah and left

Oooh I was interested in this before but now you've made it even more interesting how you've explained this, thanking you, looking forward to picking this up, I need a good cinematic narrative game, nothing really that memorable has come out for me this year, probably the only thing that came outta left field and surprised me was how good Vampire Survivors is, but I need something new with a good story interesting setting and compelling characters, and Fort Solis has done that, I'm curious on your opinion on the one called Still Wakes The Deep, about the deep sea oil rig, but I don't know much about it, I like the concept of it, thankyou for your thoughts on Fort Solis, I'm very excited for it

I think I’m gonna need another playthrough to appreciate Fort Solis more. I too am left very confused during the credits, and much of the story just doesn’t seem to exist for me right now.
I really, really want to like this game, but even after completion it feels far too incomplete somehow.

Steam reviews so far are pretty bad. Mostly because of technical issues.

I found myself seriously disappointed at the ending. The conclusion felt so forced. Honestly his character made no sense to me since he didn't even really try to justify himself very much. "I had to contain it!" He shouts over and over again, but refuses to elaborate wtf is even wrong. I honestly thought this would be a potential zombie outbreak (which would've made more compelling sense and kept the suspense up).
The fact that there's a number of unexplained plot points which felt more like plot holes (seriously, the soil is the problem but somehow it can get through Jessica's suit? But only THIS soil from that one site was an issue???)
60% of the mystery of the game is unexplained, including the main mystery of why everything happened. That left me feeling so unsatisfied. I wanted to like this game, it had me TOTALLY hooked for 2 hours, and then it basically went all downhill in the 3rd act.
