Honestly, though, Andy’s cadence and speech mannerisms are just so spot-on for this public presentation style that I can’t be surprised how often his audience score was rocketing off the chart.

I genuinely don't think I've laughed this hard in a long while. Crying laughing for all 90+ minutes. Dear God please play more of this.
I refuse to believe anything other than that the audience was so rapt with Luke’s ant afterlife speech, they simply forgot to vote.
No, they were at like 100% voting capacity, andy just seems to have never voted. He acknowledged it the next time they played this game, and you can literally see it during the stream - one hand, which is the audience, is at the top. The other, which is the player who isn't participating that time, never moves.
During 'frogs don't sell' though, you see what appears to be Luke voting and the second he does it goes wild.
How did Luke's ant speech score so low? It was a masterpiece, he reacted to the pictures so well and was hilarious. Shoddy voting work in my opinion.
Apparently Andy had 50% of the vote and it appears he didn't vote much, if at all. I don't think they realised how much their votes counted for.
Andy was possessed by J Jonah Jameson for that entire presentation.
Jane does realize "its Wednesday afternoon" means absolutely nothing in lockdown and if eurogamer can justify drinking on the job for tavern time, oxbox can justify it for jackbox games lol

I would definitely love to see more Jackbox games from you all. Of the recent packs, I like all of the games in 6 and I quite like Blather Round in 7 as well.
Also, I feel like this game shows off how brilliant at improvisation the team is. I was very entertained by this.
Remember, grammar is important. It’s the difference between “frogs don’t sell, people” and “frogs don’t sell people”.

What was going on in Luke's voting? He was brilliant and funny, I saw some people in the chat talking about the votes being broken...? I know the votes don't matter, I just hope Luke doesn't think that he wasn't great.

Andy, Luke and Jane get to vote too. Each presenter gets an assistant, so the assistant doesn't get to vote for the presenter, but everyone else does. Which in Luke's case is Andy, who wasn't voting enough probably because he didn't realize how much impact his voting had on Luke's score.
So yeah everyone joking about Andy cheating are kinda right? Because Andy assists Jane who scores big, so he gets a higher score bonus out of it. Meanwhile Jane assists Luke who always scores low because Andy doesn't vote, meaning Jane doesn't get a good score bonus from Luke. That means Andy gets a higher score total than Jane, even if she did better
(Not that I'm accusing Andy of purposefully cheating of course)
This might be one of my favorite Challenge of the Weeks. Jokes were on point and it's just a wonder to listen to them try and weave together a cohesive speech with whatever bullshit they're provided with.

I'm so glad I can watch you 3 being hilarious at this challenge as this is a game I would find excruciating to play myself :')
Voting wasn't broken: the audience had 50% of the vote and the spectating player had the other 50%. When the audience is constantly at 100% and player 3 is at 0%, this results in a nice straight line in the middle of the graph, which is what we tended to see during Luke's presentations.
Also to get over to the second stage, both the player and the audience had to be at 100%.
Andy always assisted Jane, who gets a good score because Luke votes for her. That gives him a good bonus score. Jane always assisted Luke, who gets a bad score because Andy didn't know he should've been voting. That means she gets a bad bonus score. Andy scores high because Jane votes. That meant Andy was guaranteed to have a higher total score than Jane even if she had scored better during the presentation
So all those people joking about Andy cheating were kinda right

The moon dog thing really could have been an amazing opportunity; in Norse myth the moon and sun are chased across the skies by wolves who are trying to eat them. It could have proven a godsend because she could just fall into established but still insane stuff and not need to scramble to make things up for a bit.
