    3. SOUNDBITE (English) Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister:
"The Ukrainian condition for peace is the end of the Russian aggression. We are not setting up any preconditions to be serious. It's the Russian Federation who is saying at the highest level that for Ukraine to end the war, it's enough to accept Russian ultimatums. This is not how negotiations work. We are fighting for our freedom, for our territorial integrity, and we want peace."

    5. SOUNDBITE (English) Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister:
"They (Russia) have to stop. When they stop their war activities, belligerent activities, that will be an opportunity for me to tell you that, okay, now we see that Russia is in a negotiating mood. But as you and I speak now, Russia continues to be in the war mood and they are not seeking negotiations in good faith. They are seeking the way to make us implement their ultimatums, which is not going to happen."

    8. SOUNDBITE (English), Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister:
"Definitely, we are planning and preparing for full liberation of our territories. And I will be (an) optimist when I see (the) Ukrainian flag raised in Kherson again or Nova Kakhovka which is a beautiful place."

    10. SOUNDBITE (English), Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister:
"The deliveries of weapons have to be sped up and all our friends and partners know that. Many are working to make it happen. The United States continue to lead these efforts, and we deeply appreciate what they're doing and the state of the art weapons, heavy weapons that they provided Ukraine with, namely HIMARS, multiple launch rocket systems. But, you know, we appreciate everything that has been supplied, but as long as this is not enough to win, we will keep asking for more."
    11. Close of hands
    12. SOUNDBITE (English), Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister:
"I want everyone to understand that without weapons everything else doesn't matter because when you are fighting a war this is the first thing that you need to win."
    13. Wide of Kuleba
    14. SOUNDBITE (English) Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister:
"In the history of Ukraine, there were numerous attempts to build a European, free, independent country. And there were numerous wars between Ukraine and Russia in the last, like, 300 years. But all of the leaders of these efforts on the Ukrainian side, in the end, they either were killed or they wrote their memoirs in exile. So my personal ambition is to write my memoirs in Ukraine and it will be a memoir of victory and a memoir of a person who belonged to the generation that changed history."

    STORYLINE:
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Tuesday renewed his call on his country's allies for additional heavy weaponry, saying the deliveries need to be "sped up".
Military support from Western countries has been key to Ukraine's surprising success against larger and better-equipped Russian forces, but still, Kuleba said, more weapons are needed.
He stressed Ukraine wants peace and that it was up to Russia to show they are too.
