and again.... it was supposed to be a humourous comment.... but it went far too far over ppls heads. why do i keep getting minus thumb thingys? huh? I love these two people. they are utterly brill.
They're just having good fun! And what a wonderful sounding instrument! (wurlitzer that is, not that god awful boston piano) The pianist is incredibly natural looking.
Believe it or not but this piece isn't very hard to play. Don't missunderstand, it isn't for beginners, but any decent pianist who is good at stride rhythm won't have any trouble with this. There are only about 4 riffs and a couple of breaks in this entire piece. Learn the riffs and you're good to go.
Arrrhythmic, out of tune, out of time, ill rehearsed, full of mistakes, too loud, too quiet, too fast at some points and too slow at others.... these two don't seem to be really listening to or trying to play in accordance with each other.
Absolutely gorgeous. Fun and relaxed playing from "true" professionals.
Encore!
Standing ovation.
Whistles.
Cries of "more"!
Very nice! Been a while since I've been to a live performance of ragtime on an organ. It was a pipe organ then, though!
I can watch this everyday.
MORE PLEASE !!!!!!!!!
It's always fun to watch Dick play. I've never had the pleasure of hearing Dave in person but hope to soon.
Amazing!!! Love it!!! Great job guys!
Wow!!! fabulous job!!!

You can do anything with a nice organ :)
Take the performance for what it is. They're having fun, oh and I believe thats a healthy round of applause at the end too. Lighten up :)
I was somewhat in shock when Bill Coffman bought a $33,000 dollar piano to play rags at his Old Town Music Hall, but why not? Great performance.

A 3/17 Wurlitzer (3 manuals and 17 ranks) does it get any better than this! Well, maybe the Wannamaker Organ!

Ideal speed is 1.5
12th Street Rag on a 3/17 Wurlitzer, just like doing Aerobatics in a C 124 Globemaster
This video is older than you
yes... i must apologize for offending some very literal people.

I can't actually hear any mistakes at all.
Anyone know what kind of organ this is?
