Crime goes up for two reasons; a) government goes soft, doesn't prosecute while police do nothing, and b) people turn to crime because they're desperate...no jobs, can't afford food, medicine, etc. Thanks to Justine, we are dealing with both!

I moved about 2 hours away from any city and 45 minutes to any town, 6 miles back a dirt road, no street lights, no traffic, no nosey neighbors,peaceful and quiet and no homeless because of the bears and cougars. I left the Vancouver area over 6 years ago to a small town, About 7 hours away. People leave their TV's outside, their wallets outside and doors unlocked. Everyone smiles at you when you're walking down the street, it's nothing like the big cities. The big cities are f****** terrible and cancerous to mental health and well-being.

Store robberies is ramped. I witnessed them going into a store, taking backpacks and filling them, then walking out the doors. The staff said the same pare visit the store several times a week and sometimes more than once in the same day. Staff are instructed to not intervene for safety reasons. The police don’t respond cause it’s just gonna be catch and release. So us consumers will continue to pay more to offset the losses. I’m guessing insurance rates for the business will skyrocket as a result. The culprit doesn’t even try and hide their actions.
