Disney: 25 Small Details That Were Hidden In The Movies

- Hey TheThings fans! We all love Disney films and everyone has that certain film that they watch again and again, whether that be a classic like Pinocchio, a renaissance title like The Little Mermaid, or a newer film like Moana. Even if you’ve seen this movie dozens of times, there’s always small details left in by the animators that you may have missed. From aspects that seem minor like Rapunzel’s reflection in Flynn’s eyes or maybe it’s something that’s played for laughs like the fact that Maui’s tattoo of himself becomes a shark when his magical hook malfunctions. Some of these references are even callbacks to other Disney films like Aunt Cass popping up in Ralph Breaks The Internet as a ‘Sassy Housewife’ and Rapunzel and Flynn showing up to Elsa’s coronation in Frozen. The animators at Disney sure seem to enjoy filling their movies to the brim with as many fun tiny details as possible! While there’s plenty of other studios who like to do this, none of them do it like Disney, and that’s one of the many reasons why we love them so much. Some of these small details are things that only hardcore Disney fans would understand such as a reference to cities in California with ties to the studio. Others are ones that even the smallest of Disney fans would recognize like Mrs Potts showing up in Tarzan or a restaurant named after Mulan appearing in the streets of Hawaii in Lilo & Stitch. So get ready and keep your eyes peeled as well dive into some of these small details hidden in your favorite Disney flicks.

I have a few more: in Moana, when she’s in the cave packing up her boat, you can see for about two seconds that Olaf’s hand and nose are lying next to the basket she puts in.
Whenever maui transforms into an animal, there’s an image of his hook somewhere on him, for example when he’s a hawk, the hook is on the underside of his wing.
Two scenes in Moana also show marshmallow from frozen. The first one is at the beginning when her dad says ‘there are no monsters’ and then accidentally unfurls the pictures, and one of them is a picture of the huge abdominal snowman known as marshmallow. The second is when they’re in the realm of monsters, and Moana is being attacked by everything. When you see the huge spiky thing moving in the distance, looking closely, it’s marshmallow as well. I have more but I forgot them.
And the teacup resembles Chip it even has his chip!

Animators at studios like Disney and Pixar always had fun inserting easter eggs in their movies, but spotting all of them is a really difficult task.

In the movie, Anna and Elsa use Elsa’s magic to reveal that they were heading to Ahtohallan for answers, not to Hermany, where Rapunzel’s hometown, Corona, is.

Many of us might know that Rapunzel n Flynn came to Elsa's coronation.
Do you know the Beaty and the beast trick?
The animators originally made Gaston say “time to die” but realised that was a bit too dark so changed the voice to “Belle is mine” without fixing the animation. Watching it and knowing that, it clears up a lot of confusion on when first watching it.
Jane is descendant of Belle and Adam from mother side. Also her father is son of Duke from frozen.
And her husband Tarzan is arendellian Prince
I spotted rupunzel in frozen, the first time I watched it as a kid, I'm pretty sure I was the first kid to find it
I have one you may have missed. Right when you showed the scene where Mrs. Pots was in the jungle, you only noticed Mrs. Pots and her ‘regular’ tea cup children, but I had also noticed a small chip in one of the small tea cups, which was obviously resembling Chip from Beauty and The Beast.

Some of these details I knew from other UA-cam videos, but not all.
I just know Mrs Potts in Tarzan, Rupunzel and Flynn in Elsa's coronation, and some Disney characters in the introduction of King Triton other than that the others surprised me

Is Rapunzel Anna and Elsa's cousin? Frozen 2 showed that King Agnarr and Queen Iduna were actually going to Atohallan. Not to Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding, which, if you think about it, makes sense. Why would the King and queen go to a wedding when they know that their magical daughter can't control her powers and that it would probably be dangerous to leave her alone. The king and queen left Arendelle for a good reason. Going to find the truth about Elsa's powers. Sadly, they died. big question which is now TOTALLY a mystery than it was before: Is Rapunzel Anna and Elsa's cousin?
