- Recreating the Killer Klowns from Outer Space Popcorn Bazooka! Also attempting to see if we can get it to actually blast popcorn like in the movie. This project took nearly a year to complete. Got it done just in time to do a Rudy makeup demo for Monsterpalooza armed with the perfect prop.

fun fact: the popcorn bazooka actually shoots popcorn since it was a very expensive prop that the chiodo brothers made while the cotton candy guns where cheaper to made since they where made out of super soakers.
intresting how an item that had less screentime has more depth in making than does ray guns that the klowns
Instead of loading it with just popcorn, stuff something circular inside so that the popcorn gets pushed out with way more dramatic effect.
12:40 You need to make a T-shirt cannon or gun, along with a sealed barrel, a padded wad behind the popcorn & it should work.

great tutorial. the issue with the CO2 is the 4"diameter of the barrel. internally use a 2" diameter tube and cut it short so its not visible, use another funnel and mount on the 2" diameter tube like a trumpet and paint that all black so its invisible. now your air pressure will be much more concentrated to the 2" diameter, but the trumpet horn won't show the smaller real diameter. the funnel will also allow you to load the gun properly.

Why did u choose to use the epoxy instead of the other white foam you normally use? Is is because the epoxy is more sturdy?
Yes I did used the epoxy since its way sturdier. It cures rock hard so it easier to sand smooth. Paint grabs onto it much better since it won’t flex and crack the paint 😊
Maybe put the pop corn in the back and shoot it with the compressor
