"Most balance sport bike for the price tag" - I'm sorry but I have to inform your viewers if you won't. If you are in the market for a 600cc motorcycle, you are wasting your money buying this extremely outdated machine when a Kawasaki Zx6r and Yamaha R6 both have: quickshifters, traction control, power settings, LED lights, flush turn signals, more power, and modern race designed fairings for comparable prices (Zx6r is even less!). Honda is also discontinuing this line of motorcycle because no one is buying it. Now you know why. This isn't even a matter of opinion at this point, the Honda CBR600RR is objectively inferior in every conceivable way to Kawasaki and Yamaha competitors.

They are reviewing the 'discontinuing decisions ' as the bike still sells well despite being a dinosaur. Meanwhile the new 1000rr has got all of the new tech u quoted so lets wait and see..the only thing that would kill it here in the uk is the emission restrictions.
Sabresieben I wouldn’t buy those other bikes BECAUSE they have those options. All that electronics shit we’re all going to find out real soon is going to break. And it’s going to be expensive to fix. Plus, motorcycling is about freedom. Not having your machine decide how much it wants you to enjoy said freedom. I don’t want ABS, rider modes, traction control, etc. Bitches and rookies want that bullshit. Plus, Kawasaki has major issues with their trannies and engines. Many a ZX and Z have blown up. Same goes with Suzuki. Yamahas are having electronics issues. Idle issues etc. Majority of people who own these “dinosaur” CBR’s from ‘13 are still riding them without maintenance issues. It’s a Honda. Reliability is what they’re known for. If you like wasting your money and time fixing your shit, get a Kawi, Zuki, or Yammie. Plus, Gixxxers are for faggots. The Kawi is heavy as fuck and ugly while the R6 is less powerful and heavier than the Honda. These are the indisputable facts.
The things you mentioned as reasons to choose either of the two other bikes over the Honda are really just accessories you can add to any bike. LED lights are arguably inferior to halogen because they flicker and have lower effective output despite higher "lumen ratings", you don't need t/c or "power settings" if you know how to ride, flush turn signals are easy to put on yourself, and for a 600 series bike the power ratings are close enough that you will never have a discernable difference on the street...or even the track in most cases. So you say it's a waste of money because it doesn't include gimmick features; I say the lack of those "features" is preferable and an advantage. Plus it looks awesome with the underseat exhaust. Fools marvel at complexity; the wise man mavels at simplicity.
Sabresieben You don’t know wtf your talking about. I’m an aerospace engineer and advancements in engineering e tech have not been that great. 600 doesn’t need electronics. Only ABS ITs rider skill and ease off use. Cbr600rr is an amazing bike

Just bought this exact model year I have no regrets. I am learning to ride on this bike it can be forgiving but if you give power it will not ask any questions! Comfy for a super sport too!
It's more power than you probably need on the streets, especially when you "getting up to the speed." Please take it slow and consider spending more time on the parking lots practicing since you get to learn more and safer when you don't have other vehicles on the roads.

Coming from a standard sport bike the CB500F, the 600RR will feel very aggressive in seating position, power, and maneuverability. You're pretty much squatting down in a crouched push-up position which will hurt your wrists and shoulders. Throttle response is very sensitive as in quickly & steadily paced whereas the 500F is snappy on & off throttle; very little play in the throttle bar. Plenty of power at 9k; bikes gets to 80mph in 3 seconds. Ride feel is very sturdy esp with the fairings and actually feels heavier despite being a few pounds lighter than the 500F. Exhaust is very loud and drones even with stock silencer. There is much more heat esp with the 12.2 high compression, bike warms up in a few minutes. Slow speed maneuverability is actually less sharp and heavier than upright handlebars; clip-on bars actually have some understeer where you need to lean the bike for slow speed turns or U-turns. Bike is very stable though whereas the 500F is light and leans over quickly almost unsteadily. Shifting especially downshift-rev matching is very quick paced/sequential esp with the close ratio gears. Clutch lever engagement is a window in the middle of the pull range; it disengages right away like an inch at the top and grabs about half an inch from release, which makes traffic riding more difficult and less smooth/play. Idle is higher at 1500rpm thus 3000 needed for start off. Engine braking is immediate almost always present/interfering, but that is great for safety and braking. Braking feels smooth and light but less obvious; you don't need to brake as hard as the 500F with only one caliper/rotor, so the 600RR almost feels "weaker" or lighter in braking with dual brakes.
It's all a meter of preferences. Wrists will be hurting on any bike until you start exercising your knees to hold the tank as hard as it gets. Yes any super-sport will be less comfy. Try hepernaket class and it will fit you better!

Ever heard of regulations? Engineers aren't stupid, they could easily make the bike much more powerful. But you are missing the point. All raw power doesnt equal good bike. The chassis and engine need to work as one. There are only two bikes in my opinion that have perfected this symphony between the chassis and engine; the Yamaha YZF-R6 and the Honda CBR600RR.
Alex V that’s the exact reason why the 2008 CBR600RR is the best middle weight bike Honda ever made. The most powerful, balanced, and no electronic limiter on the engine

Chaseontwowheels did not do this bike any justice in his review. This is a proper cbr 600 rr review. Very informed and factual
Great review but must have mods saddlemen seats in gel hand grips for that vibration in the higher rev range
More interested in video than the motorcycle
Lay off the Borat accent - it ain’t working

Best color out of any 600cc bike, wish it had a little sharper front end though
Since 2000 people been painting mate-black when they get a scratch or two and finally someone in Japan realized it won't cost them more to do it :D
Excellent review! By the way, what model and brand of helmet do you have, it looks so cool.
