Requirements:
- Mini USB - USB cable (comes with PS3)
- Micro USB - USB OTG cable (around 2$, eventually choose one with power supply connection as well)
- Android device with PS4 Remote Play app (more info about it here : • How to enable PS4 Remo... )

1) your devices may not be otg compatible. so you will have to use the wireless tutorial i posted (check this video -> ua-cam.com/video/FLrV7fi0_9k/v-deo.html )
2) you should install RemixOS on your USB stick (it must be an USB 3 stick). then, you just plug in the stick and when the computer boots up (before the windows starts loading) and you select the usb as boot device. this way, remixOS stays only on your USB and you can use it only when you plug in the stick. windows remains unchanged.

Hey Android Stuff guy, did sony update the app because there is only the playstation app now that you use to connect, it wont allow the ps3 controller to pair to the ps4. also noted when i plugged the ps3 controller to an Xperia phone it wouldn't work at all!!
Do you have the orginal remote play .apk?? I think sony got onto this and updated the app and Xperia phones as i recall ive had a few firmware updates on my phone and i bet it was sony fixing this exploit.
Any update on this?? I have 6 ps3 controllers and i dont want to shell out for another ps4 controller as the thing goes flat so fast.

unfortunately you will have to repeat the process every time. there is no way to connect the ps3 controller directly to ps4.
when I connect ds3..it will show me that I connect this as a second person or as first person
nitish jain on ps4 you can create multiple users which you can select when you turn on your console. each user has an email address. so when you connect with remote play, you connect as the user which has that particular email address you use in the remote play login process.
