Great video Dale! Very well put together. My favorite cat set down on my southern line is to find where an old tree fell down in a bottom or creek bank and make basically the same set between the stump and trunk of the tree. Even better when it’s hollow and you can get your attractants back in that hole. Lots of nice rotten wood duff to make a fairly waterproof set in too. Definitely going to give your thoughts on making this where I can’t find a down tree a try. Thanks!
Most cat sets I make are similar. I’m a firm believer on walk through the set for cats. I may need to get my one side up higher sometimes. Castor based and a good cat gland will do the trick.
Yes sir Steve. Eh I'm a firm believer Steve that if it's working for you just keep pouring it to them until it doesn't anymore. Then do something different. Thank you for watching
Great info Dale. I've had 4 cameras out, early scouting for wolves. In 3 weeks I have I believe 7 different cats on vid already. Will definitely be ordering a plethora of cat lure and bait from ya soon.
Yes sir ! If you know where they are walkin , THERE IS NOTHING BETTER !!! A feller can pop them in way faster than a cubby ! You just had to make this vid to get me fired up !!! 😆😂🤣
'Season of Suck' Red River county Texas style. Opened the door to the sweet smell of death. A big pack rat succumbed to "just one bite" in the middle of the kitchen floor. It was covered with "bream bait". The freezer door on the refrigerator was standing wide open and most of it's content was crawling with "bream bait" as well. 12 days with 5 traps at my 3 most productive spots, zero catches. Riding mower played out, won't start. Submersible pump in the water well crapped out. $1800 to replace. Decided running water is overrated. Hey, it's always something. Then ya die.😅
Should be able to tell by the droppings Jeff. If they're blunt on the ends and segmented it's cat. Also bobcat will generally dig a small depression to deposit them in.
Great video, A Wealth of information right here. Thanks again Dale.
Thank you Kevin. I appreciate you my friend
That's a great looking set Dale, thanks for the tip. I'll have to look back in your videos where you put a piece of carpet on a tree for a rub set.
Thank you Ron. It's in my bobcat trapping playlist. I think it's in my one titled Cat trapping the heartland

Sounds like a good run of bad luck Ferengiprofiteer. Sorry to hear all this. But I appreciate you watching
I have something crapping on or near where a fox has left droppings. Would a bobcat do that? It's definitely something other than a fox

That's right Matthew. Thank you for watching buddy
