Dampening the beauty sponge helps to blend the makeup, causes you to use less product, prevents the product from soaking far into the sponge, and it helps to set the makeup. The last reason, a MUA taught me many years ago.

Looks great on u. I could see a difference in the redness of ur skin with the primer. I'm not one that is completely sold on most primers either. I did like the tinted moisturizer. Especially for the price point.
I really like the primer. The moisturizer is good too, but the primer did seem extra glowy in person throughout the day.

Thanks for explaining how each shade is alternating undertones. Seems like a few lines are doing that now, especially if it's one of the smaller ones, that they don't indicate on the outside of the packaging which undertone it is. Some concealers seem to be like that also.

I’ve noticed the tinted moisturizer (got 3 tubes) but it is pretty matte on me. Not a big primer user but now that I’ve seen the primer, that may make the tinted moisturizer more dewy.
I think with priming it or just using more moisturizer first, you'll see it's dewy.
I like ELF camo concealer as well and actually Kokie cosmetics, I know someone who broke out with Colourpop concealer I wonder if it was a fragrance bc it would bother me as well. this is the first time I am watching you as well btw

I really enjoyed the video I didn't know revlon mad an anti aging power.
I was at Target today and they hadn't put these new products out on the floor yet. I was kind of bummed. :( I want to try the Tinted Hydrator and the Big Poppa mascara. Thanks for the heads-up on the concealer with fragrance. :-/ I'll never understand why they'd put in something around the eyes. I also appreciate that you swatched both the light and light/medium shades. I would've gone for the light but now knowing it has a pink undertone I can steer clear of it. I'm definitely more of a neutral with peach undertone. Looks so smooth on your skin Rebecca. :)
The light was truly odd on my face the day I wore it before this video. It looked so off. I'm glad for a yellow base (not too yellow) and there's so much inconsistency with makeup shades so it's so much trial and error.
Don't bother with big poppa...for me it was HORRIBLE!!! returning it to Walmart.
Yesss about the fragrance! I am so appreciative. I tried the Catrice concealer which had heavy fragrance and it totally wrecked my entire eyelid with contact dermatitis. It didn’t go away for 6 months!
@@NG-yf8ls Yes, the Catrice concealer is laced with fragrance...so bad. :( I tried it a few years ago and it made my eyes water badly.
I didn't see if you mentioned how long lasting the elf was? I want to try it I need something lighter less heavy than a full foundation

I'm glad you said "irritants" when talking about fragrance in makeup. It's surprisingly rare to hear anything other than that some people are just "sensitive to smells", even from my most-trusted YTers. Between you and me and everyone ever who reads this, it's actually super disappointing 😕

@@FrugieBlog yes good morning , propylene , di prop. , capryl glycol , hexylene glycol to name a few ! They are in everything ! Glycolic acids totally different , glycols are in everything !
Your skin did immediately react red to the glass primer. Thats a warning for me as i too have sensitive skin.
Also please note that my skin flushes after contact. It seemed calm though throughout the day.
