Colette was a buddy of mine at Northern High School in Baltimore. I knew she was a vocalist but never heard her perform. She recorded this for Volt when she was maybe 15, several years before we met. She was an incredibly sweet young lady. I heard this tune maybe five years ago and it blew me away. I never dreamed she had this kind of Mary Wells, Martha Reeves talent !
