We are the indigenous people in our various parts of The United Kingdom, Great Britain, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the British Isles, whichever one you want to call us as a collective. If they are anything like 'local me', they were at work, trying to struggle to survive. I went past not long ago and beeped, on my way home. I couldn't stop as my van is tracked and I have to log off when I reach my home address, and that is the end of my working day. Just got in and put the PC on to see this. I suspect many locals are still at work now. It's a nice thought that locals can get out all day to wave flags and support this fantastic protest, but be realistic before you criticise others. Not everyone can simply say 'bollocks' to work, and just toss it off to go up to Scampton, it's just not realistic or possible.

I am a 'local' and one who has visited the place a number of times, not just the main gate, but also the other protestors camped at other gates around the back and sides. It's a Tuesday afternoon (or was when the filming was done), people are at work my friend. I have been to the camp a lot more times than the OP, or any of the melons who 'liked' his comment, so you can appreciate my dislike of his flippant remark. Many of the locals who do attend in the daytime, are retired.
It's a division causing psyop using fake protesters, locals don't care because most of it is media fiction and controlled opposition, like these people.
