Sands of Aura is an open-world action adventure with a fantasy setting of a realm in its twilight--a world buried beneath a sea of sand. Sail across the sandseas to return life to a dying world in an unforgettable experience that is equal parts engaging story and unrelenting, souls-like combat.
From the helm of your nimble grainwake, carve across the perilous sandseas to confront the source of this newfound terror, but don't expect a guiding light or a red X on a map. You'll chart your own course forward--behold the open seas, and choose the heading you best see fit.

I honestly love how you review all of these games Danjul, its the sort of thing I want to get into eventually. This game looks right up my street, I like these sort of dungeon crawler open world RPGs. it reminds me of Baulder's gate sort of gameplay. The UI looks fantastic, and the environments look stunning. This was fantastic, thank you for taking the time to play them and show them to us.

I think it's the open world that sells this game, always fun to adventure around even in brutally difficult games like this with hard as cold steel bosses.
Indeed the open world and sailing to the world are such an epic moment in the game. Yea the bosses are just brutal to face until you perhaps find out the way to tackle them, but that takes time 😂. Stay awesome buddy!

@@Danjuls in fairness to them it's probably a lot harder to do right than it looks. Lots of hints in animations, cues and directional stuff and it's with a different closer camera. can see why, so unique, the world of it looks amazing :)) Was a pleasure!

13:06 Sand sailing, this looked like fun!
It's like normal sailing but on sand, you don't get water splashed into your eyes but small grains of rocks and debris...
In other games there could be sand sharks swimming in the desert somewhere (monster hunter reference)
Yes I was hoping for monsters in the sand like seeing a giant great thing in the distance breaking the surface. But you can drown in the sand sea also so pretty realistic 😀. Thank you for watching!

This looks like a really fun game, very deadly hahaha but open world games usually are. The ship sailing on the sand reminded me so much of monster hunter, i too was expecting some sort of sand monster to attack 😄👍

I really like you comparing playing on m&k to controller. I find some games easier on controller but some games it just feels "off". Love your reviews. Even the little details like who the music is by.

It has a sort of Diablo feel but not as hectic the level design and art style is great and the fighting does look to be challenging at times very nicely share enjoyed this from Start to Finish

the design and colors user are very pretty. Appretiate you are trying to play with keyboard as well as controller. Interesting that you will lose your cash upon death but the game will allow you to go back and retreive it. Very good looking game overall. Thank you for this great review

The graphics looks really good. Can you choose any character?
You can style your character but it's basically the same and then you build your playstyle based on the different combat styles. But no classes like in Diablo 3 for instance. The game really looks good. Thank you for watching!
