Just see this vid years after getting to know Jason from his work with Axewound and currently with BFMV but he is an absolute powerhouse
No idea. I've a feeling this could be a one off, but Jason has filled in for bands in the past on tour.

you guys are on about jason being crap? he did a seminar at my music college and i can tell you now, that guy is absolutely incredible, he showed us this video and told us he was told to just do the straight drums to try and avoid the attention.

Omar and Jason are no comparison. They're two different people with different techniques. People forget Jason is playing a drum beat Omar hiimself wrote.

Wow...Jason Bowld is a happy drummer...does not fit the fightstar feel of it but he's really good! Love the new song! its like the classic fightstar feel too when they first started out
no no no u got it all wrong, he had two bolts lodged in his wrist because he broke it in two places before their concert with feeder, but jason is a good drummer, more prog than omar but i like omar

charlie met the guys and left busted in 2004 , but it is true that their first EP its from 2005. ^^

this guy in this vid, my opinion its like that good heavy rock drummer, post hardcore/metalcore,
can play relatively simple stuff but very well and very hard

or bands like necrophagist and whitechapel, that is technichally good drummers, but this guy here is definatley a good drummer, especially for the style

@hurutosay23 By virtue of not being Omar, apparently. Don't worry about it, sometimes fans feel the need to defend their heroes if they feel they are being threatened by someone else.

I know this is ages ago and Omar is an awesome drummer but Jason is a lot better and more experienced drummer than Omar. Check out the 'This is Menace' stuff, a lot of it is very technical and very very good.

charlie is so much better of in this band
lol. no credit to fightstar? maybe it sounds a bit similar but to giv them no credit for writing the song is ridiculous. i very much doubt they heard don't stop then thought 'i like that, lets write a song that sounds like it'. its blatently just a coincidence. im sure most songs out there sounds similar to another song somewhere.

is it just me or does jason's set sound really fucking damp and shoddy, well i can sorta see why though, it is a mapex!
alogether a damn good performance though, although i love jason as a drummer like no other, he isnt right for fightstar in the slightest.

oh dear, bad comment. tut tut. jason is awesome, and my guess is that he's far superior to you if you're only 14, so until you better yourself with drumming, shut up. Also, you need to start listening to some more metal boy, then you'll realise that joey jordison is "lacking in talent" compared to quite a lot of metal drummers out there.
nah dude joey is a gud drummer but waaaaaaaaaaaay overrated
