Did the MDT ORYX Chassis improve repeatable accuracy on your CZ-457 Varmint rifle with the Stock Factory Barrel? The reason I am asking is because I have a CZ-457 Varmint MTR rifle with the factory and I am considering the MDT ORYX Chassis. Please advise.
I would say it stiffened up the rifle overall allowing me to get repeatable accuracy over the factory stock. Would highly recommend but it does need more weight which an arc rail, heavier bipod and bag rider will help with that
Planning on getting an oryx for my 455. My father in law just got a 457. Would you be interested in selling that at one stock if you have no use for it?
Yes. I moved a 16.5" MTR 457 into an Oryx Chassis and it was amazing. I sold it and I shouldn't have. It was a great 100 yard shooter with average ammo.
It’s just a PSA 9mm comp. Doesn’t really do anything on recoil, but looks good and you can definitely tell when a spicy round is in the mix vs standard match ammo
Looks great, yup always out of stock when I go there too lol. All in good time. 👍👍👍
Nice setup, the oryx is nice.
You should try the 15 round mag.
Absolutely love mine!!!
Yea can’t wait to get out with it
how are you liking the stock? i’m thinking about putting my mtr in one…?
I read that it has a taper just in front of the mag well so you must use Mdt in house arca rail which is also always out of stock

I'm on the wait list three months
Yea, they go fast. I’m glad I was able to snag it up when I did.
I'm lookin for a good scope for it. But I'm not pretty sure to choose. Do you have any updates for scopes?
Nice...
Has nrl 22 been around 10 years
Thanks. Would really like to know if it had any effect on accuracy…smaller groups. Blessings

@@scarbourgeoisie Thanks
Will it take the stock 5 round magazine?
Yeap, It sits pretty flush but you can still get in there and get it out
Is the oryx chassis heavy? Would it be too heavy to hunt with in the woods?
No. Actually lighter than the AT-One that came with my 457.
My bad he said 2 years having trounble hearing him
How is the balance in the oryx compared to stock?
So much better, It’s a lil heavier and allows the rifle to balance a bit better overall. It still needs a good 5lbs to be a solid setup
Williams Jose Hernandez Lisa Hall Mark
What muzzle brake are you using?
It’s just a PSA 9mm comp. Doesn’t really do anything on recoil, but looks good and you can definitely tell when a spicy round is in the mix vs standard match ammo
