Hi,Claudia! I'm major in Electrical engineering and interested in consulting. If I want to do an inter how should I start? And how to find consulting cases?Thks!
Hey! Is Mim from QMUL or Exeter worth it? I am from India, a science graduate who wants to get into consulting now and so I though MiM is the way...please tell me I am correct in thinking so and also! Should I try for Warwick (I will have to wait 6 months for that)
Hey Clouds Is Exeter a Target School? I currently have an offer from Exeter for MSc Finance. I already have a Masters in Accounting and 2 yrs of work exp on the sell side as an analyst. Can I move to Consulting after my MSc at Exeter?
Hey Rohan! With 2 years of work experience I would say you could potentially move straight into consulting without doing a master's! Exeter is definitely a great school but might not elevate your current profile that much
Hi Claudia I have a question.... Will a postgraduate in MSc Strategic Marketing and Consulting, Yes that's literally the program I applied to at the University of Birmingham, any good since I do not have no plans to do an MBA Thoughts???
Hello! I definitely think that you do not need an MBA to pursue consulting, and any kind of degree is accepted by the industry! If your specific Master's is directly aligned to consulting as it suggests by the name, that's definitely an advantage because you will be better prepared for interviews and the wider application process
Oof no my friend worked at ey tech risk and she did not like it. She said the campus recruiting team made the position sound like it was gonna be consulting but in ended up being basically IT audit type work
@@cloudsjoo Thanks for replying and letting me know! Was it from an existing grad sheme? I just accepted an offer at a Big 4 but for a role I'm not super interested in. I applied for Tech Consulting but after passing the group interview they told me the cohort was full and I needed to pick another role :( I chose Data Analytics. I'm thinking about applying to other big 4s when grad schemes open again for Tech Consulting - would it be better to stick it out and try move internally or is it very unlikely to move into consulting this way? I've seen US centric answers suggesting it's unlikely but I don't know if that's also true for UK B4s. Will other B4s see this as too much of a red flag that I'm moving from one grad scheme to another - would it be a red flag at your company for example? I don't have anyone to talk to about this so I'm a little lost on what actions I can take to pivot into a carrer I want to be in :)
I don't know much about Hult actually, and haven't seen too many Hult graduates in the consulting circle either so I have little visibility to the school
management education sounds like it's related to teaching? Unless you just mean a typical management degree - in which case it is pretty much synonymous to a business management degree
I winged my case study and got a consulting job at your company! I still have no idea how, I thought that I really waffled at times.
congratulations!!
I got the math wrong on my case interview but still made it through 😅
Hahahahahaha 45k entry level 😂🤣 in Germany it’s almost double
The uk is a joke yes
Hi, thank you for this video. The salary of 40k is before or after taxes?
Great video! Since I’m a consultant too I enjoy hearing other people’s perspectives on consulting jobs!

as always woohooo
How important is undergraduate GPA for admission in LBS?
quite important, I believe it is a significant part of your holistic application
Oh yes
Anyone else who wanna study business but can only count to potato? No?
you don't need advanced maths skills to pursue business at all!
I'm studying business and accounting is killing me.

whats the difference from management and strategy consulting?
Hey Clouds, is Warwick Business School and Kings Business School target schools too?
I'd say yes, but depends on the companies. MBB typically recruit mainly from Oxbridge, LSE and LBS
Hey Clouds Is Exeter a Target School?
I currently have an offer from Exeter for MSc Finance.

Hello! I don't know too much about LSBU as I do not know anything who attended that uni

@@cloudsjoo thanks for the reply. Sent you a LinkedIn request. 😂
Can u pls tell accommodation near QMUL at cheap price?
flats and houses around Mile End/whitechapel/bow tend to be on the lower price range and they're all very close to uni!
Hey clouds! Does the EY Technology Risk area fall under the umbrella term of consulting?
I don't think so, I think that's a department outside of Consulting if I'm not mistaken! But I might be wrong
Oof no my friend worked at ey tech risk and she did not like it. She said the campus recruiting team made the position sound like it was gonna be consulting but in ended up being basically IT audit type work
Do you have hair extensions or it’s all yours? So pretty
No extensions!! Haha thank you so much 😊
Did you apply for a graduate role or a senior role at your new company? I really appreciate videos like these thank you
I applied for a graduate role at the time

@@cloudsjoo Ok thanks
Hi clouds
Hi
Madam please can you tell me the difference between management education and business management
management education sounds like it's related to teaching? Unless you just mean a typical management degree - in which case it is pretty much synonymous to a business management degree
After watching you I don't even know if I am alive
If I had to do consulting I would explode
You could definitely be a beauty consultant
How much to consult with you?
Oh get out of here
Oh no don't adjust that
