- I have loved ones who have gone before me, and I know they are in heaven with the Lord. Can they hear me if I speak to them, or can they see me down here on earth?

I have had a lot of struggles in my life since my mom passed away in 2004. Then one day I said Jesus I cannot do this on my own, I need your help and the next thing I know every one of my prayers have been getting answered and now life is good and it just keeps getting better, thank you Jesus for everything that used have done for me. Jesus is a beautiful God
As much as I want my Grandpa to hear me and see us from heaven . I don’t think God will allow him to see us suffering from his lost . Heaven is a place of peace and love he doesn’t need to deal with the emotions of the world .
We don't choose when we're born and We don't choose when we leave...knowing this is true for every soul on earth...enjoy every moment, because we don't choose how many moment's we receive

Our loved ones that are in Heaven - can see and hear us. Many times I have spoken to my mother and Grandparents who are in Heaven..and they conversate with me.🙏💜.
I strongly believe that loved ones can watch over us and look down, when I was in hospital fighting for my life, my mom was praying and the little table that was in there moved across room and cold breeze came, my dad was telling us hes there so you cant say they dont, god works in many ways my friend.
I lost my 12 year old son October 5th 2020 and he has to hear me. I scream his name and tell him mommy loves him so much everyday. He has to know mommy loves him and misses him. I know I will see him in heaven when it is my time. But he was my mini me my buddy. He has to hear me. He just has too!!
I have never lost a child. I am so sorry that happened to you! But, in a bit of a way I can relate. I am 40 years old. I lost both my parents before I turned 35. They died 2 years apart from each other. I still ask them for guidance every day and I can't imagine the thought that they can't see me or hear me. It just breaks my heart. I believe that if the Lord wants for them to know we are talking to them or thinking about them or that he knows we want a sign from them I think he decides if it should happen or not. With my human mind, I can't see any reason that he wouldn't let them see how we are doing and hear our words of love. God bless you. I know this is an old post but I just had a need to reply.

My brother died suddenly two months ago and I miss him so badly. He was a believer and I believe he is in Heaven. I don't believe that he can hear me now, but I do ask the Lord to tell him that I miss him and love him. I don't know if the Lord will, but I think He probably will. He is so kind and He knows how badly I miss Kelly.
Yes he can I had a near death experience and they can see us all we just cannot see them because they are now energy known as souls
I've lost my daughter and son I believe they know what's going on give it a bit longer I read their spirit has to rest for a while I'm no crank I've had a lot of things happen that make me believe they know I've read if people are angry with them they won't try to get through to us keep telling him you love him xx
I think that he has it confused.... there is no way out of hell... once you in there' it is too late to repent and accept Jesus christ as your savior. On the other, i do believe that you can talk to loved ones that are in heaven. Loved ones does have an way with coming back in dreams to communicate or in signs. I know this based on experience.

From my personal experiences over the last 76 years I can assure you they can see and hear us, as well as guide us if our energy is kept in rhythm to receive...

I have my own thoughts on this but it's such a sensitive topic I want to respect those who are grieving and pray God alone will comfort them and reveal the truth to them.

Is it that the dead are resting until resurrection day?
It's tempting to respond ladies but for now I prefer not to. I think a lot of people have made up beliefs about their past loved ones to comfort themselves from the pain of the loss. But Jesus is the God of all comfort and we shouldn't lean on loved ones (dead or alive) to provide that. We should be okay with the truth no matter how hard it may be to understand or unfavorably perceived.
IT IS NOT OUR DEAD LOVED ONES WHO SPEAK TO US AND VICE VERSA....IT IS GOD WHO SPEAKS OR GIVES US QUIET VISIONS OR DREAMS TO US THROUGH THEM AS ONLY HE CAN DO, AMEN HALLELUJAH PRAISE GOD FOREVERMORE , AND GOD BLESSES HIS CHILDREN BY DOING THIS AS HE SEES NECESSARY THROUGH HIS WILL ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, AMEN ❣️FOR WITH OUR CREATOR NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE, AMEN PRAISE JESUS ⏳⌛️👑🌈✝️🙏🕊❤️

If not, why did I see a spirit in the middle of the day. A lady who my aunt was taking care of passed in that house. My aunt continued living in the house for a good while. My cousin and I were grilling in the back yard when I looked around I saw a lady entering the house through the back door. Wearing all black like she just got out of church. I went inside the house where my wife and aunt were. I asked my aunt who was that lady. She just laughed and said, it was the lady who passed. Truth...I wouldn't lie about this experience. My Grandfather who shot himself in the head in 85 had a garden he took care of in the back of my brother's house. My brother lived in a mobile home. One night when my brother was falling asleep, he heard footsteps coming from the kitchen leading right next to his bed, without opening his eyes. My Grandfather told my brother in Spanish...he wasn't dead, I figure since he committed suicide, his soul was wondering around. My brother said his hair on the back of his head stood up, I myself wouldn't have gotten scared, cause I loved him dearly. I wish my wife, who passed away a year and a half ago from gastric surgery would visit me like that. I'd be so happy, I miss her so much, Truth 🌹😢
Maybe our loved ones can’t communicate with us….but god can send us signs that they are okay
They can see us but only certain people can connect with them if they are gifted.
The question was can they “hear” and “see” not so much talk to us. I believe God may allow a little shall we say transparency if he sees fit.
Amen, I agree! Trying to talk to the dead, or wanting to see the dead is definitely not biblical and shouldn't be done. The bible speaks of it as a familiar spirit, and that kind of spirit is not from God, but the devil!
I know and I agree. It’s just hard to hear when your family or friends die. I lost my grandma back in January and I’d like to think that she can hear me when I talk to her but I know deep down that doesn’t happen....…
My sister died I miss her so much she took her own life because she was getting bashed by thirty people at school it’s true god pls let me see her when I come up there

I don’t think you can talk to them, unless God allows it, but I still want to know, if it’s possible for them to see and watch us. Plus in that story, it’s a man in Hell. We are asking if we can look down in Heaven. I believe that there’s a difference

It depends. IF GOD ALLOWS, then He alone can decide if He will give us another chance to see our loved ones who recently passed away (only if they went to heaven). We cannot put God inside the box and depend on our own knowledge/experience.
Our dad died recently and my deaf sister testified that she saw my dad in heaven (happy and healthy), enjoying God's presence. We believe in Lord Jesus Christ and He alone can decide what He wants to do - ALL FOR HIS GLORY!
PS: To answer your question, after my dad's cremation, my deaf sister had a vision of my dad looking at us. Why is it possible? The answer is simple.. HIS WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS, HIS THOUGHTS ARE NOT OUR THOUGHTS.
So......then the answer is "no"????

They might be able to see or be aware of our progress on our spiritual journey, everything else is not important.
I have heard Angels and Heavenly Spirits who guide me along with the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I get messages from my Grandparents.

Michelle Makoni, you are correct. We must not communicate with the dead. We may have dreams, but we should not be going to tara card readers etc because the devil always have a spirit there to imperdinate your loved one.

I strongly believe my mom is watching me from heaven.I had a bad addiction to control substance for over 25 years. I live in Florida she use to live in Phoenix.she always called me to check on me .she worried for me so much like I worried for her to .we had a beautiful bond .she passed away on march of 2021 .I talk to her every day .on June of 2021 I talked to her and said mom please ask God to help me I want to change my life .I don’t want to depend on so much drugs . I been clean 2 years and before my mom passed I tried many times to quit.the most I would go without medication was two weeks .so I know my mom is blessing me from heaven.and asking God to take good care of me 🙏🏻😊

i like to think god holds our loved ones from seeing or listening to what we do on earth as we are alive because this world is full of sin and heaven is not. i dont think he would allow our loved ones to see our suffering that can make them suffer. so he holds them in his kingdom with that "i cant wait feeling" wich is always a positive and happy feeling that we will see each other again
1 Thessalonians 4:13 and 14. Many testimonies confuse us . But if we remain in the directions and instructions of the scriptures we will be safe. The dead in Christ are sleeping. And again we are nor to communicate with the dead. If they died in Jesus they are sleeping. As the prophet Samuel said to Saul, why are you disturbing my rest? 1 Samuel 28:15. May your heart be comforted by the comfort of the HS. 2 Corinthians 1:4+5. The HS will comfort us in our deep afflictions. Ask Him for His comfort as a mother comforts her child at her breast. Psalm 131:2.
That was paradise, not heaven.
As an exception mentioned, Jesus spoke with Moses and Elijah on the mount, so completely impossible of such is not right to presume.
Also if a great chasm exists, why do we hear story after story after story of people who died, went to heaven and came back? Where's the chasm?

I am not sure how our loved ones in Heaven can hear or see us because I feel they would feel bad for us with all the hardships we all deal with & since there is no sadness in Heaven I would have to say no they don’t see us although they are praying for us.
The word of God isn’t clear on this subject so I wouldn’t be saying anything on it except my personal experience & I do believe we get visited by our lived ones!

When my mother passed away my life crumbled she had cancer and I had to watch her die that was the worst thing in my life I ever went through and she was dying in bed and I had to see that and it was just so bad I had a heart attack and wound up in the hospital over it but when I got home she passed away and just very day I still cry and think about her but I know for a fact she's at rest and she doesn't know what's going on down here and if they did know what's going on down here with us and stuff they wouldn't be able to rest so yeah I believe they are totally cut off between heaven and earth when they die. But my question is does she still remember me right now that's what I wanted to find out and get an answer on that??

It’s truly disheartening that Jesus/God seemingly shows favoritism, considering there’s been a slew of times that I’ve earnestly prayed/begged and cried for his assistance to no avail. My recent disappointment of “the all mighty” resulted in the passing of a loved one… which is the cause for my new found interest in NDE stories. I Hope to find solace from listening to these stories, since I didn’t find empathy from this supposed loving God.
The bible also says we should not contact the dead.. Deuteronomy does clarify that it’s an abomination.. lastly how can you be sure it’s your relative you’re communicating with and not a familiar spirit?
There's no one in heaven right now. Heaven has not been open yet. Until after the judgement. That's the new Jerusalem that will come down to earth 🌎🌍. Heaven is not Free. You have to be pure and wash in the blood of the lamb and your name is written in the book of life.

How did the guy on UA-cam talk to dead celebrity's. He talked to Selena and even asked if she was in heaven and she said yes and said she was with children. He even asked her is she saw God and Jesus and she said yes. You have to watch the video it seemed to be it was her. Guy was a experienced paranormal.
Rubbish. Horrible man. The messages are there every single day if you have your eyes open. It’s not a figure of my imagination. I have photos and videos that people are astounded by that proves our loved ones can still communicate with us
The dead are unconscious and nonexistent except in God's memory.
If someone communicates with us pretending to be someone we know who has died, it certainly cannot be our loved one.

Oh Thoma, I am reading this message a month after you posted it but, I just want to say that I was an only child too. It hurts more because you feel like all the traditions, all the memories and everything at left on you. Be kind to yourself. Allow your self to cry. I still cry and my parents passed 7 and 9 years ago.

Why didn't he mention that a person can put his hand from heaven and give a drop of water to one in hell.
The last line shows that Jesus was talking about the Religious leaders (Rich man) and the Common people (Beggar) who have died to their former condition.
Luke 16:31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.’”
Now Jesus' disciples from the common people will torment the Religious leaders with their knowledge of the truth Jesus had given them.

Pat Robertson used a wrong example in the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus. Here are the verses -
Luk 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luk 16:25 But ABRAHAM SAID, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Luk 16:26 And beside all this, BETWEEN US AND YOU THERE IS A GREAT GULF FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; NEITHER CAN THEY PASS TO US, THAT WOULD COME FROM THENCE.
The great gulf was between where the Rich Man was and where Abraham and Lazarus was not between people alive on earth and the Rich Man or Lazarus. It seems pretty obvious that the Rich Man couldn't communicate with anyone on Earth or he wouldn't have asked Abraham to send some one to his father's house. (Luk 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
Luk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.) Abraham however didn't say it was impossible for someone from the dead to go back and communicate with the living. Having said all that I don't believe that the dead know what's going on with the living though it did appear that Moees and Elijah knew what was going to happen to Jesus.
Luk 9:30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
Luk 9:31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
There is communication the warning of others about hell does not mean they cannot it just means that he is not meant to because it defeats the purpose of the does heaven exist.

I will not quote Scripture. You can read it for yourself... No man has ever gone straight to "Heaven" except by Yeshua. Enoch was "Translated" according to the King James "Version". Enlighten me.
And anyway how does he know
They are at peace they see cant see us and we cant talk to them we will one day see them in Heaven if we make it repent follow Jesus 🙏

If the ancestor worship is done as it is done in India then the dead forefathers can make themselves appear in the dreams of their living family members to brig blessings upon them . Such worship is known as the Pitra Puja.
