We have so many companies making 1911 reproductions why can't any of them make a reproduction Luger or a Mauser Broom handle , or a Webley Fosbery.

I have a Rhino which is unique and very well made. It’s a crowded market for 1911’s, but it is interesting to see yet another quality company throwing their hat in the ring.

James falls for the trap to get him to say "the Superior 1911" 🤣

To make things less confusing for everyone these 1911s are imported from Italy to the USA under the Charles Daly brand. Charles Daly has been importing these 1911s for a long time ever since the 1990s and they all have been very good quality! Out of all the 1911s for around $600 bucks or less I would personally select the Charles Daly, Springfield Armory, or the Tisas 1911 over all the others. All three of those are excellent quality for the money. Especially if your on a budget and would like to upgrade your pistol those 3 1911 makers are the way to go.

I mean I've had my fill of 1911s. Rather have more double stacks without the grip safety to save grip size.

James, do an "almost poors" 1911 review. Something in the $700-$1100 range. Do it in gratuitous shorts so I can use the video to help persuade my wife to agree to the purchase. Thanks in advance.

Chiappa is just funky enough for me to really have an affection for their stuff.

I have the 1911 Field Grade version, and I love it. Very impressive performance, and at a very affordable price tag.

I just bought a Cimarron 1886, which is built by Chiappa. They're really doing some fantastic work right now.

I am surprised and delighted to wake up to your latest IWA upload , just Yesterday after reading Chip McCormick's obituary I learned Chip and Kimber started the concept and production of non-hand fitting 1911 pistols.

I took a look at it at Chiappa booth and looked very well. Nice option for a reasonably priced 1911 :) btw. Chiappa booth had a plenty of cool stuff!

i wish they were doing short barrels for the field and superior. also threaded barrels would be nice, and sight mounts on the higher end ones too.

I wanted to add I also have the Charles Daly Field Grade 1911 and I like it more than my Tisas and the Tisas is hard to beat for the price. Its a very nicely done GI model 1911A1 and its "70 series" thank the heavens! Super easy to upgrade the gun took all my high end Wilson Combat parts with no issues.
