Feel the pain with hobby supplies. Every time I try and buy something in person I’m ending up with a close substitution at the moment.
I think the only thing possibly left to test with your laser is to see if I can be mounted on a shark as a weapon!
Mega frustrating that everything was just slightly wrong constantly.
And hey if you’ve got a contact with a shark hook me up I’d love to talk to them 😂
Would be interesting to do a narrative battle on it, I could see the goals for the two sides involving the giant chaos ape (like one side trying to open a warp portal to bring him here and the other trying to destroy the alter and stop the ritual to avoid escalation of the war to titan level fights or even exterminatus)

Nice terrain, was thinking the buildings. Had a lil Assassins Creed vibe before the paint. And those additions of the statues nice touch.
Oh yeah a sandstone paint job and this could have been an assassins creed themed board! And thank you I feel like the statues broke up the boxy outline of the buildings 🙂
My solution to the flipped components would be to just waste some MDF. Texture it and cut, then mirror, texture and cut.

thank you mate, I did all the steps I did on the stone and then just painted a layer of tamiya clear red over the top, its transparent and gloss so you get all the highlights coming through.

In all seriousness, the terrain looks amazing, great job and hopefully you feel it was worth the stress. Amazing what can be done with some incredibly simple MDF terrain

Those massive trees are just a big chunk of fallen tree root with fish tank plants ripped up and glue to them. 🙂

What strength laser are you using and what were your power and speed settings?
Hiya mate it’s a 22w laser for the engraving I’ve got it set at 50% power and 7000 mm/min, for the cutting I’ve got it at 100% power and 550 mm/min. I tend to use the recommended settings from this page:

Awesome terrain! Are rattle cans more cost effective than an air brush? I always thought people used rattle cans because they didn’t own an air brush?
rattle cans aren't more cost effective just hell of a lot easier for batch painting a mass amount of terrain :)

Hey mate, love the vid. I'm selling some old stuff to buy an airbrush and I'm wondering if you would have any good starter recommendations? I've got a budget of about 60 quid. Algorithm.
Have a look at Sagud airbrush kits on Amazon that come with a decent compressor, If you could squeeze to about £100 for the set up you’d be able to get the one I started with (still use the compressor and hose now just switched to a better airbrush) Two brands to stay away from are Neoeco and Gaahleri, they both sent me out cheap airbrushes for me to promote but they were bad. 😂

Yeah that's great. I got one of the sigmar floating dwarves from a magazine, the end endrinmaster in hover suit thing, and I've been waiting for an airbrush to paint him. It's going to look like space... hopefully.

well your tempel is ok and yes the ape thing ok hares a thing if looking fore planet of apes troops i think a copany called EARCA macks em or look on ESTY thare out thare some place seen on TMP the mini page it give list of NON GW manfaters well fore other games and might find 3D prints at this posting all think of just got look think one more is 100 kingdums so to nest vid
