They're not hating on artists that use autotune, they hate people that use autotune to change their voice to sound like another artist. It's basically cheating. No skill involved.
You cannot use autotune to sound like others, with it you can only change the tunning and the octave that you sing in, its not like i can sound like michael jackson with it.
@@Lafh_Hernandez Actually people can if they know how to use it right. There are many autotune features now that can make you sound like a completely different person than you actually sound. Of course it can't make you sound exactly like michael jackson or a big artists but it can make you sound different than you actually are.

@@Lafh_Hernandez The idea is that let's say you can't hit a specific high note so you do it in an octave lower and then raise it with autotune. Would that not be considered cheating?
Autotune is not how you sound like other artists, as Roomie, Black Gryph0n and Ten Second Songs have shown, they don't use autotune at all, unless the original artist used it when doing an impression, like what Anthony did at the first of this video with Cher.
Autotune is pitch correction, it smooths out discrepancies in an artists singing and *****ALL***** producers use it in studio recordings to make it perfection. It is not the evil every dumbass on the internet thinks it is. People like T-Pain? Have you watched that dude on Twitch? He has shown several times he can sing and do a whole bunch of things without it, but some artists use it at such a high level intentionally to produce that robotic digital sound.
You definitely need to check out more of Ten Second Songs work, Rap God In 40 Styles in particular, he's great.

Yo, 10 second songs whole bag is imitations. Little background: dudes an ex power metal singer (explains the way he could hit Vitas level notes). He has several videos where he takes a song then sings each verse as other bands such as: singing down with the sickness as disturbed, ghost, cher, the Bee gees etc. And I know that personally I'd love to see some scru reactions to songs he recognises since this guys the GOAT.

Anthony Vincent, better know here as Ten Second Songs, is amazing. He is a Rock Singer by trade, but his range and vocal abilityto mimic other's singing styles is outrageous. You should start reacting to his other videos. He takes a song and sings it in 20 to 40 different styles, switching style every line or two. Start with his Rap God in 40 Styles video, it is one of his best.
