- Hello everyone! This is Sayaka:) The video this time is about our visit to Conques, in the southwest of France, in June 2022.

Conques is a small village in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region of France, with a population of about 250. The village is also one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Conques is a place of pilgrimage on the way to Le Puy-en-Velay (via Podiensis) on the way to Santiago de Compostela, and many pilgrims were seen during our visit.
The pretty buildings and seasonal flowers add to the beauty of the village and you want to take lots of photos.
The temperature was close to 40°C on the day of our visit, so the camera we were using to film stopped several times and some of the footage was not captured, but most of the other footage was still on the camera, which was a relief.

こんにちは！動画を見てくださってありがとうございます。
雨戸が閉まっているのはただ単にいないだけかもしれませんが、暑さを防ぐためでもあると思います。
これらの家は寒い冬に熱を逃さないために、温度を保つようにできています。
私たちが訪れた日は40度近くあったので、太陽を避けるために窓や雨戸を閉めていたのではないかと思います。
（私の家も夏は朝と夜以外は窓は閉めています）
ここは観光地で私のように動画や写真を撮る人も多いので、家の中を見られないためにも閉めているのかなぁとも思いました。
それから別荘として家を持っている人なんかも結構いると思います。
都会からきて田舎でゆっくりひっそりと滞在したい人はいるかいないかわからないような暮らしもしたいのかもしれませんね。
