I'm about Usher's age, and been a fan from day one. I'm also die hard Michael Jackson fan. I see all of the afro American influences in KPop. I never even imagined they might be unaware and consider this an original art form.

There was a time in the early to mid-2000s when artists from the U.S. came to promote their singles in Korea or clothing lines (Beyoncé, Amerie, Usher) hence random one-off performances like this. U.S. artists promote waaaay differently than kpop idols.

Last month, I had the chance to go to Usher's show here in Las Vegas and let me tell you, It was a blast and I was not sitting at all, dancing and it was as if I met all my bestfriends in one room. His performance was phenomenal, highly recommend seeing his live performances.
