They need to have only one live mic at a time, with the other one muted. Neither candidate can interrupt the other.
"will you shut up, man?" Yeah, I remember that one.
They should only debate if the moderator is equipped with a mute button.
45 reverts to third grade bully tactics during debates where he has zero facts, so he talks louder and tries to cut off everyone in the room needing to be the center of attention.
While Biden speaks, Trump's mike should be turned off. While Trump speaks, Biden's will be turned off. The people need to watch a presidential debate, thus it has to be exactly that.
Whoever came up with "I hear you're free on Wednesdays" deserves a raise.

Moderators MUST have the ability and resolve to mute childish outbursts in order to have a meaningful, dignified debate.
Trump's microphone should be muted until Biden has the time to get his point across. The same can go for Biden. But to have Trump continuously interrupt before Biden can get out a sentence is NOT the way to have a debate period.
