same, i joined in 1.8.9 but i feel just as nostalgic. I think its because 1.8.9 was the last of the good in minecraft. the old launcher, notch owning minecraft, and so much more... i remember thinking sticky pistons were traps that make you not able to move if you stepped on them xD
So? I used to watch a couple of youtubers who left the music on in the background of their videos, that's a nostalgia factor... I started in 1.7.10, and just remembering my creative world with this music makes me nostalgic.
I only started playing pc late 2018.. I started playing pocket edition probably in 2014-2015.. I started watching UA-camrs play before 2013. The only reason I know is because I remember stained glass being new. And I am still filled with nostalgia and tears every time I hear the music.
You finally finished putting torches around your base. It's beautiful. You walk back to your house and your dog greats you. You stare at the night sky for a while and then go to sleep.
I remember it all so clearly now. Holding the Xbox 360 controller, flying around in a plains area building a massive house in creative, running from monsters in survival. Then on mobile lite edition oh boy I miss it so much. I would do anything to re live my life, but to also be conscious that I was doing so while doing it, and _know_ that these times are the good times. When I’m 60 I will show Minecraft to my grandkids and my own kids. Love you, notch, for this truly beautiful game.
I remember sitting in my little box house smelting my first iron ore & heading this song play while the sun in Minecraft was rising through my window. Ever since then I always remember this song as the only mc track that reminded me of sunrise. I miss those days back in 2011 so much
3:18 I always noticed that it sounded like people playing in an arcade. You can hear the sound of an 8-bit laser firing as well as two people playing ping pong.
I always think about the old times of Minecraft when I hear this music. The time where you just built a nice house, fought some mobs at night, explored the world.. I really miss the old days but hearing this music makes me feel like when I first played Minecraft.
This is such an underrated masterpiece. The opening piano section is beautiful, and when the synthesizer comes in, oh my god, it's amazing. It think that's what makes it so incredibly nostalgic. And that ambient middle section really is something as well. Extremely pleasant to listen to, and so fitting when playing the game. The final section takes a darker turn, and is especially fitting at night, and this section just gives Minecraft a sense of adventure, and those very high pitched whistles give Minecraft a sense of eternity. I really love this song. Among my favorites in Volume Alpha.
there is no way to explain the importance of this song to someone who has never heard it. We all here have one deep connected feeling here that is just for us all. Thank you my mainiest man C418.

i was playing minecraft with my friend, we got into an argument, don’t remember what it was about. he left the game out of anger. i walked around the world lonely. then this song kicked in, i was too overwhelmed. i cried.
I remember when I was 5 my parents finally let me buy minecraft at that time I was watching a click bait youtuber that “found” Granny in his survival world so I was excited because I thought I was going to find granny .As I started playing it became night time and I didn’t know mobs spawn so I continued to go in the forest i found a village near a lake and I didn’t know what it was a skeleton was there and he killed me .I spent 30 minutes trying to find that village when I finally gave up I created a dirt house and never left at night because I was scared of mobs. 8 years later I found that world on the old crappy laptop my family had at that time .So many memories
okay this one actually sheds a tear, it just takes me back to the first tutorial world i played on, finding the random castle towers scattered around, the old swamp house, the pyramid with the chest beneath it, all the different music discs around. I just wish I could go back for a moment and experience it all for the first time again. I still remember spending my first night locked and baracaded in the main castle of that world, being a scared 6 year old kid who really was terrified of the things outside. I remember it all like it was yesterday, despite it being over 10 years ago, a goddamn decade ago.
The best thing on this game is that now it hits different, but to the new kids, they feel just like us, and they will feel nostalgic just like us, this game is magical.i remember when i've found my first village, it just hits so different when everything you do, feels new. Good old times
Who remembers back when you were little, and you got your first Xbox 360 for Christmas, and you downloaded Minecraft, and played it all day. Minecraft on the Xbox 360 in 2013 was when I really got into it.
"World 5" or "SNAKE" I believe it was called. One of my first worlds in the game that I really took time to build stuff in. Cutting trees, digging for resources (remember my first, bedrock level mine), building overly ambitious structures (skyscraper out of cobblestone, yeah), exploring, finding caves...ah, yes those were the times. And this is the track that brings back the memories the most. It was always my very fav.
My first world was called new world like every other xbox world. I still have it, and I transferred it to cloud saves, so i'll have it for a while longer. Ah, teh memories
This is MY kind of song. Can you tell why? Because of Memories!!! I first heard this song in The XBOX 360 release of Minecraft. Then in the PC version.
I remembered when my sister showed me this game in 2012, I always try to survive the night even though dangerous mobs are everywhere. Time passed, and now, I still remembered the first night where I tried to make a flower garden. How beautiful it is to see a flower has the name of “Danny”.
I remember when I first started playing minecraft, it was the cracked version because my mom didn’t have money to buy me games. At that time, I didn’t know how to make the mobs appear, my game was stuck on peaceful and I took some time to see where to change. I remember thinking that my minecraft version was special or something, because the only enemies that I had were the wolves, if I hit them. Those were great times man... From there I learned more and more in minecraft, I used to make notes of the recipes so I wouldn’t forget. And than multiplayer came, and me and my friends from the neighbourhood and school would just play for days. Internet sucked back in those days, so the only thing that wouldn’t lag as much was skyblock... man we were the kings of skyblock.
Some people don't know how to treat this "community". It's not a community, it's a place you can always return to even if you've caused havoc. As long as you can forgive yourself and move on. So can the other people who live in this house of people.
I remember the first time I played Minecraft. It was a hot summer day and my Mom told me that we we’re gonna meet with one of her friends. After about an hour of driving we made it to her friend’s house. I was excited to see what it was like. Once we got inside I met the lady and her three sons. After we all introduced ourselves we got to know each other. I remember us just sitting on the couch together and out of the blue one of them asked if I wanted to play on their Xbox360. At the time I had no idea what a Xbox was due to me being a Nintendo kid. They decided to pop in a certain disk and asked if I wanted to play. I was really excited and agreed. The four of us started playing. It was great. I remember just running around with my friends as we just explored the world. I knew nothing about the game so I usually just stuck with my friends as we would explore caves and other places. I remember constantly getting lost. I remember when I stumbled upon a village. My friend already had a house there and told me I could have it. I remember at night when the monsters would come out I’d be hiding underground in a small hole I made. I miss those guys and it’s been years since I last saw them. I remember all the good times we had just building and exploring. It was wonderful. I miss those old days when I could just be at bliss playing games and just doing whatever I wanted without a care in the world. And if you guys see this comment just know that I thank you for all the good times we had and I hope you’re all doing okay.
I still play Minecraft, even as a young adult overwhelmed with all the complications life brings. This song has found me in late nights when I can't sleep; it has found me in times of stress when I just need to relax and forget reality exists. I love it so much.
I.. wow. I feel like this is the song you hear when you 1st start Minecraft. May not be as good as Sweden, but probably the most nostalgic Minecraft song
it starts raining: clark you go adventuring: haggstrom you go mining: living mice get back home: subwoofer lullaby chilling inside your house: mice on venus
I own a PS3 and play minecraft PS3 Edition on it all the time and after about six and a half minutes of playing I would hear this song and then the memories start to flow in.
so i was searching for this song everywhere and i finally found it... because this was playing when i found diamonds, when i heard the tune kick in, C418 punched me in the nostalgic gut. thank you for this beautiful soundtrack.
This song always reminds me of when i was building a huge castle like 6 years ago and then i fell off a tower and lost my world because i was in hardcore it was one of the first worlds i ever had and i still have that world but its corrupted so badly it wont even open anymore minecraft just says “a corruption in the game file has damaged the world. Please contact us if you need help” to be honest its pretty sad i cant even view my world anymore
Ahhh... those where the days... No screaming CODdlers, just me, Wilson (named my wolf), my friends and my fishing rod! Also: Key -- Door Clark -- Chris Oxygene -- Equinoxe Living Mice -- Moog City :)
Maybe some of them. Keep in mind that there are annoying people in every crowd, but they tend to stick out more than the normal people, sadly. But don't let that fool you into thinking there are no normal people.
Sunsets and sunrises are never the same on bedrock as they are on Java or the Legacy consoles or PS4. Just watching the beautiful sunrise change all the lighting in a flawless way, telling you that you made it through another night, and you're going to have more of whatever you seek
i remember this song so well and i am glad of all the times we shared memories we laughed and built together, im sorry i cant bring back old memories, c418 can, thank you for bringing back my friend

I had the first ever edition of Minecraft PC I had a world that had really good graficics but it crashed
I use the old minecraft music to fall asl.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I would, if I didn't mess up the cord every time I did.
+Judeous lol
AKzebraMiner Yeah...
We're Same!!!
I would if I was able to. I can't fall asleep with something sounding in my ears.
This song feels like one of reminiscence, thinking about fond memories from years past and wanting to recapture that same joy once again.
>C418’s name is Daniel
>Song is Danny
This song makes me go to tears and every time this song plays i remember all of the fun moments
This makes you miss those good times in life.
This is MY kind of song. Can you tell why? Because of Memories!!! I first heard this song in The XBOX 360 release of Minecraft.
Then in the PC version.
Same but it's not the best tho
I had a PS3, close enough lol
When I first got minecraft this was the first song I heard
I remembered when my sister showed me this game in 2012, I always try to survive the night even though dangerous mobs are everywhere. Time passed, and now, I still remembered the first night where I tried to make a flower garden.
How beautiful it is to see a flower has the name of “Danny”.
Huy Gaming man, I was scared of the caves cuz of them noises.... they always scare me
This is my most favourite soundtrack in any game ever...
Every time I play in my living room and this song comes on my dad is DEAD asleep
Its "my dad fell asleep" not "my dad is dead asleep".
its both
@@stingyclaimedthischannelcl5202 It's "It's" not "Its"
@@deniswalsh3807 It's "It's "It's" not "Its"." not "It's "It's" not "Its" ".

I remember that Christmas morning I load the game and this song came on and made my day sooooo good I’m happy this was in my childhood
This is one of my favorite Minecraft songs
I hope C418 realizes the amount of people’s childhood he made
My brother and I called this the “night song” since this would warn you before it was dark. We played this game like a drug together.
this one makes me so nostalgic, gosh
I just watched the whole video, with the Day-Night cycle, and I have to say the sunset was a the perfect time with the "moment of clarity" at 3:51
Some people don't know how to treat this "community".
That is a beautiful history, and yes, Im doing ok, crying with C418 music, nothing out of the usual :')
I still play Minecraft, even as a young adult overwhelmed with all the complications life brings. This song has found me in late nights when I can't sleep; it has found me in times of stress when I just need to relax and forget reality exists. I love it so much.
The first music I heard when I started was this, on an Xbox 360...
Minecraft couldn't have had a more fitting soundtrack than this istg it's truly perfect, thank you C418.
Happy 10th anniversary Minecraft 😭😄
I.. wow.
I feel like this is the song you hear when you 1st start Minecraft. May not be as good as Sweden, but probably the most nostalgic Minecraft song
You just spawned: Main theme
You built your house: Sweden
Your first night starts: This
it starts raining: clark
you go adventuring: haggstrom
you go mining: living mice
get back home: subwoofer lullaby
chilling inside your house: mice on venus
I always think that this was a sunset especially at 1:00
I own a PS3 and play minecraft PS3 Edition on it all the time and after about six and a half minutes of playing I would hear this song and then the memories start to flow in.
I've played this game so much I recognise all the music..
0:36 "Oh, look. the new dawn is breaking. Isn't it beautiful?"
Just Imagine The Song Renames To "Minecraft Volume Alpha - 21 - Danny Devito".
joined on 1.8.1
all these songs will hold a special place in my heart
As a wise person once said
We never stop playing, we just take really long breaks
Your right I saw or heard someone say this once. They were very wise
An honor to share a name with one of the best pieces of music ever created ❤
Reminds me of the first couple minecraft worlds I played in... I wish I could go back to those worlds...
Don't we all.
***** Reminds me of the old demo version just simple survival
oh ya
Hey you commented this 5 years ago
Dylan Haire
You can do anything in Minecraft
so i was searching for this song everywhere and i finally found it... because this was playing when i found diamonds, when i heard the tune kick in, C418 punched me in the nostalgic gut. thank you for this beautiful soundtrack.
this is nostaigia at its highest
This is the kind of song when you unaware start realising you're alone in the world, but it is inspiring you to keep playing.
This song always reminds me of when i was building a huge castle like 6 years ago and then i fell off a tower and lost my world because i was in hardcore
it was one of the first worlds i ever had and i still have that world but its corrupted so badly it wont even open anymore minecraft just says “a corruption in the game file has damaged the world. Please contact us if you need help”
to be honest its pretty sad i cant even view my world anymore
So much nostalgia from 2012-2018, when Minecraft was good, I still play to this day but the experience was 1,000x better back then
Ahhh... those where the days...
No screaming CODdlers, just me, Wilson (named my wolf), my friends and my fishing rod!
Also:
Key -- Door
Clark -- Chris
Oxygene -- Equinoxe
Living Mice -- Moog City
:)
Dog-Cat :D
+Vukasin cecen You people really can't stop complaining about people that play COD.
Maybe we cant, so what? Theyre just a bunch of toddlers anyway.
Maybe some of them. Keep in mind that there are annoying people in every crowd, but they tend to stick out more than the normal people, sadly. But don't let that fool you into thinking there are no normal people.
Jean Michel Jarre?
This is the best minecraft sounodtrack ever, this is the first time I am hearing it and I am in tears.
The end of “dog” is at the beginning of the song
Me and bro seven years old playing minecraft on the ps3 in his room eating chips and drinking juice.. good old days😅😅
*thud* My heart sank soo deep because of this music it's so beatuful 😌😌😌
Thank you for the memories minecraft and C418
Fun fact: Dog music matches perfectly with Danny's start!
Petition that the achievement who is cutting onions is obtained when this song pops out in your singleplayer world
in my opinion This is the best song in the soundtrack
This brings back memories of playing the tutorial world on my Xbox 360. Such carefree and peaceful times
i can relate😢
1:22 looking outside at the moon and the mobs from your dirt house
Sunsets and sunrises are never the same on bedrock as they are on Java or the Legacy consoles or PS4. Just watching the beautiful sunrise change all the lighting in a flawless way, telling you that you made it through another night, and you're going to have more of whatever you seek
good old minecraft 😊😊
i remember this song so well and i am glad of all the times we shared memories we laughed and built together, im sorry i cant bring back old memories, c418 can, thank you for bringing back my friend
Brooooo i love it here!! 1:51 tickles my brain just right!
Favorite song on the OST. Man, playing the Minecraft OST really brings back memories...
