I'm working Christmas day and can't wait for my Brie, bacon and cranberry sauce on crusy baguette sarnie! The skincare convo was excellent as always from both but the Sandwich appreciation was hilarious ❤
Loooooved this❤ love you both❤❤❤❤ Caroline, is the denim shirt a subtle nod to the video you did with Sali years ago?😉 I was a huuuge fan of the "In the bathroom with.." series!
Does anybody have experience of using mineral powder foundations on over 60 skin? I'd like to use it sometimes instead of using liquid foundation, but afraid it may look ageing? Any opinions or brands that give a glow?
Love Sali H - always interested to know what she thinks, whether skincare, make up or life - so unapologetic which is totally freeing! I am 59 now and in my early twenties I saw a programme on the telly where a scientist spoke about protecting skin from the sun and I heard the term spf for the first time. I went into Selfridges in Oxford street to buy skincare from Lancome and when I asked if they had anything higher that spf 4 the assistant looked at me as if I was neurotic and totally bonkers. Life has thrown a lot of stress my way but I have always sought out the highest spf I could. I only came to the retinoid party in the last year or so - if only I had educated myself my skin might be even better but I am thankful to that telly programme in an era where spf wasn't really discussed.
I got across this info in my late 20s and have been wearing sunscreen ever since. Friends looked at me as if I was insane when I mentioned this, for years and years. But now about half of them wear daily SPF. There has definitely been a change. And now I also get the odd question about what magic serum I use to have good skin, which always cracks me up. It’s not the serum and there are no over night miracles in a jar.
Totally obsessed with sarnies. I live in NZ now and I miss those London sandwich options esp those old style city sarnie bars with all the fillings on metal oval plates. Do they still exist?
I want to go into the screen and sort the curtain drapes out! 😂💗
MORE PERFUME DIARIES!!!
ps: We love you Sali. And Caroline.

I thought Caroline forgot to ask Sali the sandwich question in the first podcast 😳

Decades Ago, i noticed Skin Care for Men was not on the shelfs.

Fabulous 👏👏
Sali is 49!??? 😮
Same!!!! 😮
I'd go for cheese and kimchi on my toastie, rather than sauerkraut.
I’m so making Sali’s sandwich tomorrow!
