Great recording you were right in the action standing side by side with Boston's bravest while they were attacking that fire. That was great work sir !
Great Job!!! The dude had to get saved because he would rather burn to death than come out naked!! He was probably running around looking for clothes, and couldn't see in the smoke! Kudos to the Fire Department for saving his naked ass!!

it was 1982 old school guys , the trucks seats weren't set with the SCBA @ that time . And a lot of those guys who started in 60's and early 70's didn't want to wear them.. I think back watching our towns fire fighters putting out a fully involved car fire with no air.. Think of all the burning chemicals in a car fire they sucked in ..
House fires were different then, lot less man made materials and plastics used in home and furniture, so less toxic gasses than used today. Still wasn't best to be breathing it in, though
As a photographer, it is hard to get fire showing on smaller fires, because Boston Fire is so quick.
Uncommon valor was common for those Jakes.
Boston fire always kicks butt.
Yes they are , 1st in the nation and also a interior fire fighting department. Boston's heroes many thanks to those men .
Back when the fire service was made up of Firemen! Now we have policy makers and box checkers

Why do all these serious fires at night seem to happen when there's a full moon out.

In 82 everyone have leather lungs. Unfortunately guys died way too young because of it.

@@williamclark5339 Spot on. Lots of those guys in the video had a lot of hands on fire duty. The war years.
@@staffoffice True that. I've been to way to many funerals for those guys from back in the day.
