I'm seeing a lot of comments who are mad at the profiler who mentioned the murderer hadn't resorted to physical violence to Janet despite her having been raped. People, this is not what he meant. He was referring to that fact that, while being raped, she wasn't harmed OTHER ways, such as: biting, cutting, beating, strangling, breaking bones, disfiguring, stabbing, etc. Rape is still violence. The profiler was pointing out that the murderer, interestingly, HADN'T harmed Janet BEYOND rape thought he'd just beaten and killed her boyfriend. A person who maims, rapes, and kills a victim is a different kind of psychological mindset compared to a person who only rapes. Is it any less of violence? No. Was it still horrendous and inhumane? Yes. The profiler was pointing out a strange behavior of comparison from the murderer to better track him down. Thats it.

Wow this crime was tragic
Didn’t anyone else find it a little bizarre and unbelievable that they came back to the crime scene years later to find a bra laying outside?? They didn’t explain it or readdress it in the evidence at the end.
They addressed it @ 12:30
Did you even watch the episode?
I swear that's the last time I went to the comment section before watching the whole episode lol.

Sure, trust yet verify, but two extensive lie-detector tests seems a bit excessive when she's the victim of such a horrible crime like this.
Especially when she had a rape kit done already, that's a violation in and of itself
the guy was living in the area and the police resolved it after 20 years only Athe neighbor report it's a poor police work
Why not canvas the neighborhood and find this guy years earlier 🤔

Johnson look like Boullard from another episode “trouble brewing”.
I thought the exact same thing. I couldn't remember the episode name, only that he let some guy stay with him because his electricity was shut off, and the guy used his boots when committing the crime.
I just went back and compared the two - they seriously could be twins.
They love to show off the hot actress.
Anyone know who the actress is?

Something I find hard to understand about the US is why is it common to move around in front of a SEE-THROUGH window, at night, with lights on - often not CLOSING any curtains or blinds and also often KEEPING windows open, especially on lower/ground level dwellings? That is just WEIRD. It is asking for trouble. And this happened in the 80's but to this day, people in the US still have this odd behaviour.
They may not have had AC and kept the windows open for cooler air.
Do you actually think that this type of behavior only happens in America? What a moronic assumption. Your bias is showing. Educate yourself prior to commenting again.
Why don't Americans shut their curtains, never mind the window? So many people get in because they cut the screen.

Thats it.
Thank you!
