For those wondering why all the Nissan GT-Rs in this case, Hot Wheels is celebrating the Nissan Skyline GT-R's 50th anniversary in early 2019. The GT-R first launched in Japan back in February 1969, not even a whole year after Hot Wheels themselves. Other 2019 cases are also getting the Nissan Fairlady Z (known in the US as the Datsun 240Z), which is also turning 50 in 2019.
Thanks for the great case unboxing, Mark! Walmart gets all these B cases right now, while here in West Los Angeles, Targets have been getting A, C, and now D cases.
I love these new wheels like the Double Disk and the Steelies 8-Spokes, much more interesting and in scale to the cars. Made me buy that '57 Chevy for what feels like the 20th time, this Hot Wheels car is as old as I am!

That gt500 will be very hard to beat in track time. The front end is heavy and it rolls nice This is an excellent case. Also found the vw pickup super today! My first one ever. Quite a lot of fun

I've honestly found 3 sting rod t hunts in a week. And I've found 7 t hunt hollow back cars over 3 months of time. I feel like they've made them easier to find the last couple months. Haven't found a super t hunt yet though. Happy hunting!

You can add a little speed to some Hot Wheels cars by using a mechanical pencil. Just pull the wheels out as far as you can on the axles, then use the mechanical pencil to apply graphite to the axles, then push the wheels back and spin them a few times (repeat a couple of times). I learned this from Pinewood Derby cars, and it works pretty good for Hot Wheels. Hey, it's not cheating, LOL! 😁

HI again Mark, question and maybe you even have a video answering: Is there any real difference in collectibility between international cards and US cards? I'm finding both for the same exact cars at the grocery & drugstores I've been hitting up. Wondering cos I like to have one to open & play with and ended up with one of each for a couple cars -- Which one stays intact? My gut says the US card.
I don't notice people caring anymore, either is fine. That being said, when I do Track Time, I would open an international package if I had one.
