I highly recommend reading some books by Frans De Waal, an expert in primatology and ethology, about his ideas on the inner working of animal minds, especially primates. _Are We Smart Enough to Know How Smart Animals Are?_ and _Mama’s Last Hug_ are really worth a read. He has some TED talks on UA-cam about moral and so-called “alpha” behaviours in non-human primates which are entertaining and good food for thought.
Around 15,000 individuals, adding up all the different subgroups of Golden Snub-Nosed Monkeys. Their conservative status is listed as Endangered on the IUCN red list for threatened species. Sadly their population has been trending down in recent years but I know there are programs in China(the only country they live in) to protect their habitat and start boosting populations.

Difficult for me that the music playing behind the speaker conflicts with the voice and message of the speaker. What is the fascination of running music behind the speaker? The message gets lost, listeners get frustrated and drop off the channel. Whomever has invested time and money in producing the video suffers loss of their investment; as do those viewers who are interested in learning what BBC has to offer. What a shame for both.
