When B Parsons had this yrs car at Michigan my father-in-law took me to a race there with a press pass. Got to meet R Petty, B Parsons C Yarborough and my fav Wild Bill from Dawsonville. After that race I built. 1/25 scale model of this doing Benny"s car. Cause we were there on a Detroit Gasket sponsorship . Custom made the Detroit Gasket sticker in the correct position and put that model in a display case for him on Father's day. When he took it into work they displayed that model in their front showcase for the D G people to see. He told me his boss was so impressed that crazy good things happened for him and there definitely was kickbacks for my family at that time. My B Elliot model was better in my mind.
We bought one of these, a 93 we were looking for a car for my oldest daughter, her first car, we saw this thing for sale, I always really liked these Cutlasses, it looked like new, well it had 825 thousand miles on it, but everything worked even the AC, the guy was a salesman or something my wife of didn't want it, but we bought it all the kids went through it for college and whatever we had it till it had 1 million 325 thousand miles on it, nearly trouble free, when it turned to dust, the kids were all gone, I bought 96 for myself, work beater, I loved these things, really good cars, that one turned to dust at 450 thousand, just drove it to the junkyard a couple months ago, NASCAR was good back then also.

This is a late 80s Cutlass. My guess 88 or above. 1980 they were still running the 76-77 442. Which was dominant on the super speedways
THE GANT MAN = SAW HIM FOR MANY YEARS = MET HIM AT DAYTONA PITS AND MALL AUTUGRAPH SHOW = GRAPE GUY
